To select applicants for BUMS, BAMS, MBBS, and other programs, the university accepts an admission exam. However, entrance to some non-centralized courses is determined by merit. Glocal University of Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh is quite well known in that area. Spread over the lush green campus of around 350 acres, it boasts state-of-the-art facilities for students. Its BTech in computer sciences with four different specializations is the USP of this Institute. Its vibrant placements cell can bring in more than 500 recruiters during placements season. From the data available, it can be seen that almost 45% of students get placed, which can be considered as a very good performance. It reported the highest package of around INR 18LPA while the median package reported was about INR 4.5LPA. In addition, with each passing year, the number of students placed shows an increasing trend along with better median, the highest, and the lowest packages too.

  This appears to be quite a good situation.
