GEU is the top private player when it comes to placements.

Placements: GEU definitely offers the best placements when it comes to private universities. CSE core, which is my course, has the best placements at GEU, with over 40+ students getting packages worth 50 LPA or more in 2026. All the international IT companies like Microsoft, IBM, and Adobe are a part of our recruitment programme, and thus getting a dream job from GEU is quite possible.

Infrastructure: I don't stay in university hostels as there are several PG options available close to the campus. Hostels though are amazing, and the best is Marina Girls Hostel, which is probably the biggest girls' hostel in Dehradun. The campus isn't that big, but facilities-wise, it is unarguably the most equipped campus one ever sees.

Faculty: Unlike most colleges and universities where professors are a generation old and have decades and decades of teaching experience, GEU goes the other way around. Our college has professors who are young and fully updated with technology. So, I think faculty-wise, with the kind of roadmap which GEU lays, soon most universities follow.

Other: GRAFEST is our annual fest, but besides that, we have various other festivities all around the year.

GEU is the best private university to pursue CSE in Dehradun!

Placements: The number of students is almost 15,000-16,000, as many engineering students study in our small university. Yet 50% of them are placed. The highest placements have already crossed the 1 crore mark, and companies like Adobe, Microsoft, and others are continuously hiring students from our university

Infrastructure: There are three boys' hostels of the university, but all are off-campus. There's one on campus, the NRI hostel as well. The campus is small but still better than any private university campus. The campus is tidy and full of the latest facilities. The area where the university is located is also good. Everything about our university is the best.

Faculty: From Advanced AI to Data Science professors of our university are advanced. By advanced, I mean not many professors here are white haired professors, they are young professors who use technology themselves and know the best use of it. Thus, they teach us accordingly and thankfully their teaching is entertaining.

Other: Gra Fest is our annual fest held every year. We have celebrities and guest invited during our annual fest.

It is a good environment, and I would love to rejoin.

Placements: The course provided good opportunities. The industry offered placements to around 72–80% of students in good hotels. Students went to groups like Taj, Marriott, Hyatt, and ITC, where they received training and placements for their future careers in management, including roles in the bar, front office, and kitchen.

Infrastructure: The college had a very good environment and provided good meals in the canteen, with a variety of food and other items for students. The canteen had a different menu every week, and the hostel rooms were clean. There was also a laundry facility. For games, we had a pool, badminton facilities, and a cricket playground, along with medical facilities.

Faculty: Faculty was good, though not exceptional. Passing the course was quite easy, and I enjoyed learning these things from the faculty. Teachers were very helpful and provided a lot of guidance and training on how to manage the front desk, take orders from guests, and handle many other responsibilities.

Other: I felt good about the friendly environment.

Good B.Com and ACCA course with decent placement, modern infrastructure, and supportive faculty.

Placements: Placements are decent. Companies related to accounting, finance, consulting, and business services are providing oppertunites to students. If students has 80 percent and above are placed in my course. Highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA. The average package is around 7 LPA. Conducting aptitude tests, communication skills, resume building, and interview preparation are the main focus of our placement cell. Amazon, Infosys, TCS, etc., are the top recruiters of our college.

Infrastructure: The classes are decent with projectors and fans. Good Wi-Fi connection along with open seats. The hostels are also good with decent rooms and availability and the canteen food is nice. Everything is available inside the campus. There is a pool table, badminton court, basketball court, and a big ground.

Faculty: Faculty is supportive and knowledgeable. They focus on both theoretical concepts and practical understanding. The course curriculum functions efficiently and it helps us prepare well. The difficulty level of exams is high. But it makes the students ready for further challenges. The pass percentage is 40 percent.

Other: The college is best known for a big fest featuring famous singers and DJs.

GEU is the most promising private university.

Placements: GEU Dehradun placements are world-class, and especially our branch which is one of the latest editions, also guarantees jobs in core companies like HAL, DRDO, and others. Since we will be the first batch of B.Sc. Aeronautics, I can't tell about the numbers as that will be known once our batch is placed.

Infrastructure: GEU's best part is its girls' hostel, Marina. The hostel, which accommodates over 1000 girls, is one of the largest girls' hostels, and it is off campus but just 300-400m from the University campus. Our campus may be small but it is definitely the cleanest and tidiest campus one has ever see.

Faculty: Aerospace engineers with working experience in building flying objects are the ones who teach us. Also, since we just have lectures two days a week and we are just a batch of 16 students, I am glad to tell that special attention and privilege are given to us by our professors.

Other: Grafest is our annual fest and the crowd of GEU is the best among any private universities in India.

Placements: As forensic is a new course in the college and offers government jobs, the placement is 0. Almost every interested candidate gets an internship from our course in government and private laboratories related to forensic Science. B.Tech is the most popular and top course offered in our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Graphic Era is very excellent with all good facilities, but the Wi-Fi and network connection are not up to the mark. The hostel facilities are good, but the mess needs to get better according to now. Medical and sports facilities are also great.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is also great. The course curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate, consisting every type of question, and the passing percentage is also nice.

Other: I selected this course because of my interest in crime scenes and scientific theory. Forensic science teaches us how we can prevent manipulation in crime scenes and how we can learn from those things to help the victims. More practical knowledge can be given. From events to extracurricular activities, everything is great and very popular.
