Excellent for placement, sports, learning, and making friends.
Placements: Of the students who appear for placement interviews, 70% get placed in good MNCs. Zydus, Amneal, Baxter, & others are recruiters. I got placed at Cadila Pharmaceuticals in the Clinical Research department as a Project Coordinator. The average is 2.16 LPA. The highest is 3.5 LPA for Bachelor's students. For Master's students, it is even higher.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. I get good exposure to the library and computer labs for project work. The canteen serves all types of cuisine, but sometimes it is full of chaos, so I prefer to go for lunch outside the college premises. Sports facilities are also very good. Every year, a university trial is conducted for all sports. There is also a sports week for indoor as well as outdoor sports. Medals and certificates are awarded at the end of the traditional day.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful at each step required for final-year projects, internships, and placement interviews. Almost all teachers are M.Pharm and Ph.D. qualified. The pass percentage is most probably 95-100%. From the college perspective, all students who show a little effort can crack theory and practical exams. The college has all the best equipment and materials for practicals. If a student uses them well, they are definitely industry-ready for all roles.
Other: B.Pharmacy is one of the best courses in the coming years because it teaches the fundamentals of various types of drugs and gives exposure to practical experience like formulation preparation.

Good chemical engineering course with supportive faculty and strong industry exposure.
Placements: Our course has 40 students and provides good placement opportunities. The highest package is 10 LPA. The average package is 5 LPA. The lowest package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Reliance, Nayara Energy, Tatva, Tata Chemical, and ETA Chemical. 90 percent of students get internships in reputed companies. These include Reliance, Nayara Energy, Tata Chemical, and ETA Chemical. Chemical Engineer, Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, & Safety Engineer are top roles. The IIChE student chapters also help students develop technical skills. They also help develop communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi is available in the college in all departments with good speed. Good laboratories are available there. I prefer to do experiments there. There are good classrooms with AC and a projector. There are many sports activities in the college, like zonal sports. There is a good sports faculty.
Faculty: Teachers at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College are helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. There is a proper balance of theoretical concepts and practical learning. Course curriculum is relevant to the chemical engineering industry. It helps students develop technical and problem solving skills. It also includes practical projects and industrial exposure. These make students more industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. They require regular study and understanding of concepts. The pass percentage is generally good for students who attend classes regularly. Proper preparation is also important for the examinations.

Self-study, good placements, and fewer activities.
Placements: 90% of students were placed in my course last year, as per last year's data. The highest package was around 25 LPA. The lowest was around 3 LPA. The average was around 6 LPA. HackerRank, IBM, and TCS were the top recruiters. Around 50-60% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The condition of Wi-Fi was very bad. There was a very weak network connection and no Wi-Fi available. Labs were average, and the equipment looked fine too. The classrooms were average, as expected from government colleges. There were no ACs, only fans. The library was good. Many books for engineering were available. The hostel was not allotted to first-year students this time, and I don't know why. It was very bad.
Faculty: Some teachers were good, while some were just too strict. Some teachers supported us, while some wanted assignments and homework done. They didn't worry about skills, but there were different faculty members, so it was okay. Some subjects made the course curriculum relevant, like PPS, but some did not, like BME. I was a first-year student. Exams were in 2–3 months.
Other: The course was Computer Engineering, so the work was sitting and working on a computer. I was kind of a lazy, low-energy guy who would love this. More subjects should be added for coding. Events and fests were quite few. The crowd was also kind of boring. No one looked interested. The campus was good and all green. They didn't focus on extracurricular activities at all.

Very good return on investment.
Placements: The average package is 2–2.5 LPA. For more details, you can check the college website. Top students get placements. Roughly 8–9 students from the previous batch sat for placements, and some of them got placed. Enfochieps, TCS, Veer Electronics, Mind, and Adani are the main companies.
Infrastructure: The college is very big with a green campus. You will not feel crowded anyway. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms. The library is well maintained and clean. The mess is also good. I don't know about the hostel because I come from home. Connectivity is awesome. You have many options like rickshaw, BRTS bus, GSRTC/ST bus, Gandhinagar city bus (Yogi/PM Yojna), Metro, AMTS, and your own vehicle because the road is good and it is near Tapivan Circle/Ahmedabad Ring Road.
Faculty: Teachers or faculty members are relatively good. They are qualified because this is a government engineering college, and they become professors by giving exams. They are helpful and knowledgeable, but some are rude. The course curriculum is as per GTU norms. Semester exams may be hard if you don't study well.
Other: I chose this college because it is a government college. I have a good rank and don't want to pay high fees. It is also a trustworthy and reputable college in my area. The college is big and is also developing more. Events are happening, but not like you see on Instagram because it is a government college, so there is limited funding.

My lovely college and the memories.
Placements: 70% of students got placed in my college. The highest package was 7.5 LPA, and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA. The top recruiters were Sinzel, O2h, Sun Pharma, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships in my college. The top roles offered were Researcher, Developer, Chemist, Lab Technician, etc.
Infrastructure: There were many facilities in my college. The campus was one of the best. It had a big playground and provided free high-speed Wi-Fi for students. It had the best labs for experiments. The library was also good and beautiful. The college had the best hostel facilities with nice and hygienic food.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. Faculty was highly qualified and knowledgeable. They were hardworking and motivated. Teachers understood the subjects and taught well. The course was very relevant and prepared students for industrial jobs.
Other: I was from the 2022 batch. Our batch was the last batch that studied the old course. After our batch passed out, the course was changed. I chose this course because I loved Chemistry. Chemistry had very practical uses and was beneficial to the world. I wanted to improve the course and its practical applications. The campus was very nice and beautiful. We hosted freshers and farewell parties for students. We conducted many cultural activities and fests. We played cricket tournaments, volleyball, and basketball matches.

Best engineering life at LD College.
Placements: Placement offers are decent here. Many top Indian and MNCs come to the college for on-campus as well as off-campus interviews. Recruiting companies are Tata, Adani, Reliance, Aditya Birla, etc. The median package is 3 LPA to 4 LPA and up to 20 LPA also in CS and other branches.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was previously old, as it is a college from the 1950s. But now the infrastructure is rapidly developing. There are new department buildings with great laboratories, and classrooms are being built, and many are under construction. In a few years, it will have great infrastructure.
Faculty: College faculty is really very helpful, especially in my department, we have many PhD and master's degree-holder professors. The curriculum is under GTU, and it is revised every 5 to 6 years, the last time it was revised was in 2025, and it includes societal and industrial internships and mandatory extracurricular activities.
Other: Lakshay is the biggest tech fest of the college. It is also one of the biggest college fests in Gujarat.
