The entrance examination consists of questions from Mathematics (10+2 level) and Aptitude and Mental ability. Candidates must have a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level and obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.

To get a seat in HNBGU for Master of Computer Applications (MCA), the selection is based on an entrance examination conducted by the University. The entrance examination consists of questions from Mathematics (10+2 level) and Aptitude and Mental ability.
The eligibility criteria for admission to MCA is a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level and at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
Candidates studying in the final year/semester of their qualifying degree may appear for the entrance examination.
