This is a very good college for B.Sc. and B.Tech. The location is also very good.

Placements: Placements were good for B.Tech batches. For B.Sc., they were not very good. Students did not get many internship opportunities, but if they had good ideas, university provided funding for projects and also arranged internships. Placements were good overall. Students got almost everything they needed on campus. University had two campuses. B.Tech classes were conducted on one campus and other courses on the other.

Infrastructure: All facilities were available in my course, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a central library with more than 1 lakh books. Electricity was available full-time. Student life was good, with enjoyment, functions, and leisure activities. Overall, everything was fine.

Faculty: Admission to B.Tech was through JEE Main. The curriculum was relevant if students worked hard. Semester exams were difficult but not overly challenging, and the papers were usually of easy to moderate level. Teachers were helpful and always supported students.

Review of Maya Devi University.

Placements: The placement rate of the School of Arts and Humanities is good at MDU. However, its courses are structured according to the government exam syllabus. Placement rate of other Schools like Engineering, Commerce and Management, Hotel management and tourism, Paramedical sciences, and applied sciences is higher than that of Arts and humanities. You can even check on its official Instagram page and on my Instagram account.

Infrastructure: The best part about the infrastructure is the greenery in its surroundings. Secondly, classes are well organised in each department. Each building has a separate library. Labs are further maintained well for their respective department. Hostel rooms are average. MDU hostel provides fully furnished rooms with regular cleaning facilities along with a mess and laundry.

Faculty: All teachers are qualified, well-trained and helpful in nature. The curriculum is relevant. The university maintains the balance between studies and non-academic events like competitions, festivals, cultural programs, etc. The difficulty level of the exams depends on preparation. However, the level of questions is moderate.

Other: I am pursuing a B.A. Mathematics, which is a combination of maths along with minor subjects as per your choice ( economics and political science in my case). The thing that should be improved in my course is that the university should include many more minor subjects in the BA Maths. MDU conducts regular seminars, events, annual fest, etc. The best thing is that all the courses are available at very low tuition fees.

Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna is good for students who are from middle-class family.

Placements: No type of placements are available in HNBGU, Uttarakhand. There are so many reasons why they are not offering placements because Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna is far from the facilities of DU BHU and other bigger universities. There are so many people working there that's the main reason they don't provide any placements.

Infrastructure: There is a light facility, a bench desk, and a fan facility. Not projecting lessons are there, only whiteboards and chalk lessons provided. There are more than 10 fans in a room and separate classes for separate courses. Only fault is the president's selection, which affects the education.

Faculty: Exams are semester-wise, you need to attend 75% classes, otherwise you'll not get any chance to sit in the exams. Classes totally depend on the students and the lecturers. Every lecturer delivers a different aura and type of education. Semester exams are held under university lecturers.

Other: Try a hostel if you want to enjoy campus life. It's best, and you can enjoy roaming around campus.

Good university for study and an environment surrounded by mountains. It is best for MBA and B.Tech.

Placements: Firstly, I am in 1st year, and the 2nd-semester exams are going on. After completing them, I will enter the 2nd year, and the college provides a roadmap for the future and internship programmes. The ROI is 90%, and MBA is also a course in the university, along with other UG courses.

Infrastructure: Labs are awesome, with full Wi-Fi in classrooms and labs. AC in both labs and classrooms. Lab assistants help when students face difficulties. There are 4 labs, including AI/ML and SAD labs. There is a separate library for undergraduate and postgraduate students, and 3 canteens on the campus.

Faculty: Faculty is awesome and cooperates with students, explaining concepts in depth. They give activities for a better understanding of concepts with practical applications. There are 2 exams in one semester: mid-semester and end-of-semester. The questions are tricky and thought-provoking.

Other: There is an annual fest every year, along with Dandiya nights and other events. Scholarships are available based on merit.

Best college, definitely recommend it.

Placements: RIT Roorkee had an exceptional placement cell that truly went above and beyond for its students. Reputed companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Wipro, and HCL Technologies. Several top product-based firms visit the campus every year. RIT Roorkee was considered one of the best places to kickstart an engineering career.

Infrastructure: Campus was green. It includes big workshops, smart classrooms, and a good library for self-study. Sports facilities and a gym were a plus. Hostel infrastructure was secure with Wi-Fi.

Faculty: Faculty at RIT Roorkee was actually helpful. Most professors were well-qualified and explained concepts properly. They focused on practical learning. Doubt-solving sessions were regular. The college also provided coding practice, projects, workshops, and placement training. It offered a good mix of academics and skills.

Other: It was a good place to study without city distractions. It was worth it for students who are serious about campus life and placements.

The college campus is good, but it feels like a school. Faculty is good.

Placements: There is no placement or hospital affiliation for paramedical students, but the college has numerous hospitals for posting nursing students. A posting fee will be applicable per student. College placement bridges the gap between academia and industry.

Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi in college for students, and phones are banned in college. An extra fee will be charged in the name of exam fees. First, you clear your dues, then you will sit in the exam, and if you don't attend the exam, a fine of 500/1000 per subject will be applicable. This feels like it's school, not college. Or the 2nd-year fee is paid in the 1st year.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is average. The course was curriculum-relevant, but it does not make students industry-ready because there is no practical knowledge for students. So, where they can be ready for the industry, it’s not bad.
