Q:   What score is needed for admission to various courses offered at IFTM University?

IFTM University offers various programmes at the UG, PG, Diploma and Doctorate levels. All these programmes are offered by eleven different schools of IFTM University.

IFTM University admission 2022 for all the programmes are strictly based on merit scores in the last qualifying exam (Class 12 score for UG programme, graduation score for PG programme).

For undergraduate programs, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. For admission in UG courses in the School of Engineering, it is required to pass 10+2 with PCM and a minimum of 45% aggregate.

 

Q:   What should I do to get a direct admission in IFTM University for B.Tech?
A: 

IFTM University admission is open for the academic session 2023-24. Candidates can visit the official website to apply.

IFTM University admission 2022 for all the programmes are strictly based on merit scores in the last qualifying exam (Class 12 score for UG programme, graduation score for PG programme). However, for MPharm and MBA programme candidates are selected on the basis of a valid GPAT and MAT/ CAT scores, respectively.

Really good environment for studying.
Placements: 30% of students got placements. The minimum 5 LPA is the package I have seen. Companies are recruiting for our course. 80% of students got internships in our college. A government company provides us with internships and it provides really good support to our knowledge.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure provide the whole campus Wi-Fi facility and labs are completely furnished with all equipment. Classrooms are neat and clear with proper sitting arrangements. I am not a hostel student so I don't know about that part of college.
Faculty: Teachers are good and knowledgeable. Exams are really hard even after studying. Teachers are all of good nature and they are helpful in our studies. College faculty members provide 2 class tests before the semester. Semester exams are easy to pass but hard for top marks.
Other: I am a farmer and I want to do this course.

My college: My small world.
Placements: 100+ students got placed in my batch. The highest salary is Rs. 1,00,000 per month. The average is Rs. 70,000 per month. The lowest is Rs. 40,000. Many well-established recruitment companies give offers. 50% of students got internships from our college. Top roles are software engineers, web tester, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well-constructed. The college campus is very beautiful. Classrooms are well-maintained. Benches, boards, and everything is good. There is a big library on our college campus. Our hostel is well-maintained. They provide a room with 1 bed, table, chair, and cupboard. They provide us with four meals a day. The mess food is quite well. The medical and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated and well-trained. They are highly qualified and experienced. They provide us with quality education. This course makes students industry-ready if they study properly. Semester exams are difficult to pass as their question papers are quite difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the IT sector. I want to become a software engineer. I think their lab lectures will be improved. There are many fests, annual days, fresher parties, farewell parties, and sports meets in our college.

My university, my experience.
Placements: The placement percentage for my course is very low, around 4-5%. The highest salary offered was 9 Lacs per annum, and the lowest was 3.5 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are teaching companies such as Airtel. There are no internship programs currently and the top role is of managing director.
Infrastructure: The facility infrastructure is very good. There is a library, a computer lab in the department, and free Wi-Fi for everyone. The quality of the hostel is pretty good, and the quality of the food is good too. There are medical facilities available 24/7, and many sports are offered.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well qualified and the teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is very relevant and does a good job of preparing students for the workplace. The semester exams are somewhat tough, but if we study regularly, they're not impossible.
Other: There are various sports events being held every year, and annual fest is organised every year.

My honest review: I am satisfied with the value for money; the placements of the university are avg,
Placements: Umm, right after the 3rd year, students were eligible for internships and college placements too, but the problem is no good companies come over here, and if any, by chance, do, they are not going to make it. Somehow, they reject, and after that, they are not going to come here again because the student response was also zero. The package is like 2.2 LPA to 3.5 LPA on average, and students should have done well in their academics and maintained good records, so he or she should be capable of sitting in the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good; Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. Classrooms are big, and daily cleaning services are also provided by the university. Hostels are average, and food is normal in the hostel mess, but in the canteen, you can get better food. Sports facilities are also good in the university; there is one gymnasium hall, and you can get any sports-related items.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Mostly, teachers are Ph.D. holders, and all staff are well-trained and qualified. The curriculum is the latest, following the new pattern by UGC. Students learn a lot from this curriculum. The difficulty level of exams is mostly easy to moderate.

They do not place all the students.
Placements: We were about 200 students in our course, but not a single one of us students got placement. No one gets placement in this college; here they just take all the fees, and that is the end of the matter. This college never thinks about the placement of students.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility in this college, but there is no AC facility, and the teachers here do not pay much attention to the students and are not educated enough to give the right knowledge to the students. The staff of the college is very lazy and rude.
Faculty: The teachers here are very lazy and do not have enough knowledge to educate the students properly. Here the teachers just want the students to pay their fees on time; nothing else may or may not happen. It is very easy to cheat in exams here. The staff allows us to cheat in exams.

Placements: The placement and internship opportunities here are average or even below average as the highest package offered is 4.8 LPA (in-hand salary) and the average is 1.8 LPA (in-hand salary). Only a few students get placed. Top recruiting companies which are showcased in the University’s advertisements are Mahindra, Unacademy and ICICI bank. They also do not provide internship opportunities, you have to hustle outside the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with every classroom being equipped with smart cameras, projectors and boards. The college is divided into different departments like management, pharmacy, engineering, etc. Each department has its own building comprising of 3 floors. Each department has a lift and each floor has clean separate toilets along with drinking water facility. Each department has required labs and library available.
Faculty: The faculty here is really well qualified and most of them are assistant professors while some are also pursuing their PhDs. The female faculty is really amazing and helpful towards the students. The curriculum of this course includes subjects like business economics, business statistics, business accounting, etc. Every semester ends with one main theoretical examination and 2 class tests.
Other: I chose this subject because I really love its curriculum and I am also interested in business and corporate world.
