B.Tech. in Computer Science and Design at IIIT Delhi is chosen for its unique amalgamation of computer Science and design, providing a comprehensive understanding of both fields. The programme focuses on developing graduates who are well-versed in computing approaches, tools, and technologies, as well as design approaches and new media technologies. With the increasing demand for good design and interaction design in IT products and services, this course prepares students for a rapidly evolving industry. However, it's essential to note that the course is new and not recognised for GATE exams, requiring students to work harder to clear the exam from the CS stream. Admission to the programme is also competitive, with a maximum rank of 11,000 in spot round for Delhi students.
