Candidates need to be Class 12 pass with minimum 70% aggregate in five subjects including Physics, Maths and Chemistry and 70% in Mathematics in Class 12 from a recognised board to become eligible for the BTech programme. Yes, admission to a MTech course is IIIT Delhi is accepted without GATE score. However, it depends upon the chosen specialisation. GATE score is mandatory for the MTech CB course admission. However, admission to MTech CSE and ECE programmes is done based on merit in GATE, plus PGCAT-IIITD exam scores are also accepted. Additionally, for the MTech CB (DBT seats) admission, the selection is done based on GAT-B score.

IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025. To check the result, candidates will need to enter their GATE enrollment ID, registered email ID, and date of birth. The GATE exam is very prestigious among engineering and Science graduates. It is conducted every year by one of the IITs among the nine IITs. In 2024, IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE exam. Your calculated rank will be somewhere around, 40000 to 5000 that is too high for any NIT or IIIT. You need a minimum of 99 percentile if you are aiming for CSE as it is the most sought after branch in the engineering and therefore have very high cutoffs, under 5-10k.
