Decent college overall, average placements, but it relied on self-study.
Placements: Placements for our course were average this year. About half of the students from our batch got internships through the placement cell, while the rest of us had to look for opportunities off campus. The highest package was around 12 LPA, while the lowest was around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were mainly TCS, Infosys, etc., along with mid-tier companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was decent but definitely had room for improvement. The classrooms and labs had basic setups, and the library was okay. The Wi-Fi could be quite slow on campus. As for hostels, the rooms were manageable. The sports facilities were just fine, nothing extraordinary.
Faculty: Teachers were quite helpful and well-qualified, although the teaching quality depended on the individual. The course curriculum covered the basics, so students had to put in extra effort. The semester exams were moderately difficult, but students could clear them if they studied.
Other: I chose this course because of the decent career opportunities in this field. The best thing about it was the supportive peer group. Campus life was generally fine. My advice was that if you wanted admission to IIMT University, you should first know the full details about the campus and course.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

An average college with good infrastructure.
Placements: To be honest, the placements here are just okay. If you are in CS or IT, you will get a chance to sit for mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. The average package stays around 3 to 4 LPA, which is pretty standard. The highest package in my batch is around 9 LPA, but only a couple of students got that. The lowest I heard of was somewhere around 2.5 LPA for some sales roles. When it comes to internships, the college doesn't do much. You mostly have to build your own resume and apply.
Infrastructure: The physical infrastructure is one of the strong points of our college. The campus is big and looks really nice. We have huge classrooms, and the labs are mostly equipped with working computers. The central library is great, especially when you need a quiet place during exam weeks. Wi-Fi is there, but the speed is pretty hit or miss, so we usually rely on our own mobile data. I stayed in the hostel for my first year. The rooms are decent enough, but honestly, the mess food gets boring really fast.
Faculty: Teachers here are a mixed bag. Some professors are super helpful, and they really know their stuff and will actually guide you if you show interest. But there are also a few who just read straight off their PPT slides. The teaching quality is average overall. As for the curriculum, it is a bit outdated, but that's the same story in most local colleges. You absolutely cannot rely only on the college syllabus to get a job. You have to do self-study and learn modern skills on YouTube or Udemy to become industry-ready.
Other: I chose this college mainly because it is relatively close to my hometown and the fees are reasonable compared to other private engineering colleges. The best thing about my time here is definitely the friends I made. The crowd is mostly local from UP and NCR, and everyone is pretty friendly. We have a yearly fest which is fun to attend, even if it's not on a massive scale. I wish the management would focus more on bringing better core tech companies for placements.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2025
2.8
1.0Placements4.0Infrastructure3.0Faculty3.0Crowd & Campus Life3.0Value for Money
University is a good value for money and average.
Placements: No official placement was held by the university and students got jobs on their own. 1 to 2 percent of students got placed in local agricultural companies only and a few students got jobs on their own efforts and interviews. At the time of admission they promised 100 percent of placements and showed huge figures to impress you.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, good labs, good classrooms, and a decent library were available. Canteen food was good but I did not live in a hostel and I live out of a hostel because the hostel was too costly for me. Wi-Fi was available in all places like classrooms, labs, library, and digital boards were available for the last 2 years
Faculty: Faculty was average and the ICAR syllabus was followed. Semester final exam was like nothing or so easy to solve and get a good percentage. The teachers provided question banks before the exam or at least 15 days before the main exams as per the teacher's subject. There were total 8 semesters and each semester had approximately 12 subjects, 24 sessional exams, 12 main exams, and 120 practicals and assignments.
Other: Everything was average but the infrastructure was grand. Placement was almost zero from the agriculture department. They did not hold placement programmes.

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma.) - Batch of 2026

It is good, and I am satisfied with the teaching. The infrastructure is good.
Placements: 5% of students got placement in the senior batch. The highest package was 4.5 LPA. Some students joined companies like Mankind and other organizations. Around 60–70% of students got internships in hospitals as pharmacists. The top roles offered on campus were MR and Sales Management.
Infrastructure: University has Wi-Fi across the campus, along with professional course labs, classrooms, a library, and central library facilities. The quality of food is average. There are also fast food shops available. Sports and games facilities are good, and many tournaments are conducted. University also has a swimming pool.
Faculty: Teachers have Master’s or Bachelor’s degrees and are knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are easy to understand, although not for all teachers. They provide notes through ERP, which is helpful. The exam difficulty is moderate, and about 70% of students pass. Overall, it is good for students.
Other: I have an interest in medicine, so I chose pharmacy. I gain experience and practical knowledge. But recently there were many fights, so I am a bit disappointed, but it is okay.

B.Sc. in Hotel Management - Batch of 2026

The actual and honest review is okay because this college is not like what you expect.
Placements: University promises 100% placement at the time of admission, but now I am in my last year, and the last semester exams are going to be held, yet there is no campus selection happening, and no companies are coming for placement. I am having a very bad experience.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. The rooms are okay, but sometimes in winter there is a lack of hot water. The mess food is good, but sometimes it is very bad. The hostel has both good and bad aspects. The hostel gate closing time is 10 pm, by which time students have to return.
Faculty: Teachers are good, cooperative, and very helpful. They support students if they are right. Semester exams are conducted very late, but the exams are fair, and the question paper is not very hard. Most students easily qualify for the exams, but some students get backlogs every year.
Other: The course is good, but it requires a dedicated and hardworking person to do the job. In the hotel industry, shifts are 12–14 hours. The bad thing in the hotel industry is the timing. There is no flexible time to go back from duty, which is why not everyone continues in the hotel line as a future career.

Satisfied because of the faculty, good placements, good infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: There are not many placements in this college, but this year it was awarded as NAAC. So I think it will increase placements now. From this year, the college has collaborated with Google, which is good for the students of the college and their placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the hostel facilities are very poor. There is a shortage of water, and the food in the mess is very bad. Students in the hostel are always talking about their bad food and water; also, the facilities of the hostel are very lacking, so B.ED students make their own food.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams for my course are better than those of university students because I am a student of AKTU B.Tech CSE. Our faculty is good compared to the university's faculty. AKTU has the best teachers and strategies for teaching students.
