Good Infrastructure, a wide campus and good placement in 2024.

Placements: The placement drives at our college have been quite active, and this year the placement rate is showing a significant rise. The average package offered ranges between 7 to 10 LPA. Internships are also provided, and the faculty is supportive throughout the placement process.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructure and amenities. The C block of the university is particularly spacious and well-designed, providing ample seating and waiting areas. The college canteen is also spacious and serves as a good place to relax. The on-campus hostel is well-maintained and offers a comfortable stay for students.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified, with many holding PhDs. They are supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful. They provide detailed notes and study materials, ensuring that students understand the concepts thoroughly.

Other: I chose this course because the college offers specialization in Cyber Security, which aligns with my interests. The student council is also commendable in organizing events and ensuring their success.

The University is really very good.

Placements: Good placement offers are made by various companies like like TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. in the campus. Almost every student gets placed in the Galgotias University. Average salary of a placement package lies between 3 to 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Galgotias University has a good infrastructure and hostel. Beyond academics, the college offers a vibrant campus life. Various club and organizations catered to diverse interests, allowing me to explore my passion and develop various skills and knowledge.

Faculty: The faculty were knowledgeable, approachable and passionate about teaching. They provided individual attention and encouraged critical thinking helping me develop a deeper understanding of my major. The curriculum was well structured covering both theoretical and practical aspects.

Overall, it's a good university with good placements, infrastructure and teaching.

Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, MakeMyTrip, and GoDaddy participated in the placements. Additionally, 50% of students secured internships in government companies as well as private ones like Infosys, Lenskart, and Paytm. Roles offered include Senior Manager, Assistant Junior Manager, and others.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are top-notch, featuring state-of-the-art technology and modern equipment such as digital boards, projectors, Wi-Fi, and computers. However, the food quality in the hostel is mediocre, and the canteen is overpriced. On a positive note, sports facilities are good, including a basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, cricket net, football ground, etc.

Faculty: Yes, some teachers are helpful, but others are very arrogant despite being highly qualified with Ph.Ds. Teaching quality varies among teachers, with some being exceptional and others very poor. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Exam levels are above average, and the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course to become an investment banker. The best thing about the course is that it helps us understand how management works. I think basic information about the course is missing; it starts at a higher level, so students who do not have a commerce background have to struggle.

The reality of Galgotias University.

Placements: About 50 percent students gets placed. The highest package offered was 5 Lacs 14 thousand. The average was 5 lacs, and the lowest was 3 Lacs for BCA. Although B.Tech and MBA had more than 10 lakh average packages. Companies like Deloitte, etc. recruit from here. Many roles are offered after like software development, web development, cyber security expert, blockchain development, data analyst and many more.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere on the campus. The architecture and infrastructure are too good. Facilities are appreciated. The labs are highly efficient. The library is very big and has all the books one needs. Each classroom has AC and fans. There are grounds and equipment for sports. All types of sports are supported. The canteen has a vast range of delicious and affordable food. The mess food is hygienic and good.

Faculty: The teachers here are highly experienced and great at teaching. They are approachable even after college and are always willing to answer questions. The teachers are very friendly and supportive and help guide us towards a better future. This course offers a lot of practical knowledge and skills that students can use in their future careers. The exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is 80%. Most students pass.

Other: I'm a student at Galgotias University. I think that in the coming future, teaching is very important to grow. The subjects offer a wide range of opportunities. Subjects like states, cognitive, data science, DBMS, and even Japanese language are taught. The social life is very good. There are fests every month and freshers every year. The university balances work and entertainment hand in hand.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure but not with the faculty average placements.

Placements: Last year, only 5-10% of students were placed in their field of study. The highest salary offered was 1 crore, and the average salary was 5-6 lacs. Some of the top companies that recruited were Microsoft, Infosys, and Samsung. They offered roles in sales, entrepreneurship, and other areas.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is really good, but the hostel facilities and food quality are too bad. If you can, I suggest you look for a hostel outside the campus.

Faculty: Some faculty are really helpful, but some are not. I don't know why, but it makes students ready for their field. Exams are not difficult, so if you study average, you'll get good marks.

Other: Because in the future I have to do an MBA, so it will be very helpful for me to get ready for.

Is attendance compulsory for BTech at Galgotias University?

A student is expected to maintain full attendance in all courses. Considering the fact that a student may be absent due to ill-health or some family emergency, he/she has to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in each course individually for appearing .
