The eligibility criteria for admission to IMU Kochi for B.Sc. in Nautical Science are:
- Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as mandatory subjects from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks: 60% aggregate marks in PCM and 50% marks in English subject in 10+2 examination.

The primary eligibility requirements for admission to BBA courses at IMU Kochi are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% and  50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, the campus requires several other requirements for admission to the BBA course.  Yes, IMU Kochi does provide scholarships to its BSc students. Mainly, the scholarships are provided to the students who qualify for the centre/ state-based scholarships. Additionally, the campus offers scholarships to the Indian women seafarers. Candidates can apply for these scholarships through the official website of IMU and NSP (National Scholarship Portal). 

IMU Kochi only offers one specialisation in the BTech course, i.e., Marine Engineering. Further, the course is divided into eight semesters and offered in full-time mode. The minimum is Class 12 in PCM with at least an aggregate of 60% and a minimum of 50% marks in English in Class 10 & 12. A 5% relaxation is given to SC/ ST candidates.

IMU Kochi campus offers two specialisations in the MBA course, namely International Transportation & Logistics Management and Port & Shipping Management. The admission process for both of the MBA specialisations are almost the same, in which candidates are required to complete their graduation with an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the admission process, an applicant must secure a valid score in IMU CET/ CAT/ MAT/ CMAT. 

To seek direct admission for the B.Sc. in Nautical Science course at IMU Kochi, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

To get a seat in this programme, canddiates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts the Class 12 scores for merit.
