This college suffered for two years after corona.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They qualified for Ph.D. and from NITs. There are many practical training. Semester exams are moderate and passing percentage is 50%. You have to give proper respect and respond to teacher so that they can help you.

Review of Southern Academy of Maritime Studies.

Faculty: Faculty members were almost good but they won't complete the chapters at the time of the exam. There were no study materials. Everything in our college was so old that many things wouldn't work. They didn't have proper facilities for students' practicals.

Absolutely a fantastic college for those who pursue marine field.

Faculty: The faculty members are very well qualified and are personnel who have demonstrated their capability in the maritime industry. The curriculum is also entirely based on modern maritime knowledge and is updated frequently. The semester exams are moderately difficult.

I hope we will get placed this year.

Faculty: Faculty members are really supportive and encourage us to study. Exams are literally the toughest. You won't get enough time to cover the portions or to prepare well. Exams will finish within 1 week. You want to score 50% of the pass mark and study a lot to answer 10 questions.

Review of Southern Academy of Maritime Studies.

Faculty: The faculty members are quite good here, but only the marine-related faculty are good, and the rest are not. Our English teacher cannot speak English properly. Our science teacher is very confused about the subject. I faced a little racism there as I am from the North, due to which I was given less marks in internals. You need to be careful here.

I am satisfied to study here, and I am working.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, friendly, and they know all the things which we need. Quality of teaching was good. Asking questions and getting answers was not an issue here, and they tell without hesitation. They are up to the core, so we can easily pass in the exams without arrears. Special classes are also conducted here.

Overall, the college is good. The only problem is with placements.

Faculty: Faculty members are good as they are dedicated to students. Maximum of them are retired captains from Merchant Navy. But, one thing is that the number of permanent faculty was very less, and the maximum faculty in our college are visiting faculty. They try to teach us well, but due to some academic issues, they weren't able to support us.

Review of IMU - IMU Kochi Indian Maritime University.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college were experienced. Permanent staff members of our college have a good educational background. Still, most of our teachers were visiting professors. However, those visiting professors are truly academic and best in their methods. Teachers were an asset to the college.

Infrastructure is really good. Faculty members are very nice.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful. You can contact them anytime during college hours and after college hours too. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality and methods of teaching are good. Student to faculty ratio is poor. For the last 3 batches, the student to faculty ratio is 25:3. The college doesn't provide much industry exposure. The curriculum is quite useful and good.

It is a good college if you are interested in merchant navy.

Faculty: Faculty members and staff for all the subjects are good. They pay special attention to all the students, as the number of students is limited to only 40 which proves to be an advantage. Faculty members teach from their prepared notes. Captains teach the shipping subjects to students.

Our college has a good infrastructure and friendly environment on the campus.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All have a good qualification. The teaching quality is good as teachers can clear doubts of the students. The student-faculty ratio is 40:1. They use practical classes also to teach the students. The course curriculum is good, but students have to be sincere.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty good placements and really good infrastructure.

Faculty: Here the faculty members are good and they help us in any situation and for our university minimum attendance % is 85% if the students are having below 85% attendance the he or she has to pay the condonation fee if they attendance are below 75% then they are not eligible for writing semester exams.
