Indian Institute of Teacher Education or IITE Gandhinagar admission 2021 is closed now. IITE offers the following seven courses over main streams of Teaching & Education, Science, Social Sciences, and Arts. The courses are residential programs and admission to these is on the basis of the merit of the entrance exam- Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee conducted by the Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE).

Indian Institute of Teacher Education is the University established by the Government of Gujarat. It has 30 affiliated colleges under it..The University follows the guidelines of the Government of Gujarat/UGC/NCTE.

IITE Gandhinagar Admission 2021: Highlights

Admission to the courses shall be on the basis of merit of the entrance exam Integrated Test for Teacher Trainee (i3T) conducted by the Indian Institute of Teacher Education (IITE). A quick overview of the courses and fees along with their selection criteria is tabulated below:

My college is best for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Placements: Approximately 76% of students are placed by renowned companies. Other than that, JNVs and KVs also recruit students from our college. Many students get assistant professor jobs in many colleges. Many students are also hired in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia for jobs.

Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities. It includes a library and clean laboratories with full safety and guidance from experts. A sports ground and a radio station are in our college. Facilities for visually impaired students are also available.

Faculty: Faculty members are very expert with Ph.D. qualifications. They are very helpful in the curriculum as well as in our daily life because they not only focus on our examination results but also on our future-related competitive examinations. Awareness related to master’s courses and other courses is also given.

Other: I chose this because I want to become a very good professor in the Mathematics. The best thing about my course is that not only are students aware of their future, but faculty gives importance to their future.

IITE: the education for becoming a teacher .

Placements: So IITE is one of the colleges that provides us with integrated courses in India. Here, you can do your B.A. And B.Ed. in just 4 years, saving you one year. At this college, you are going to become a teacher. This is a special course for becoming a teacher.

Infrastructure: The college is big. There are auditoriums, sports rooms, prayer halls, and so on. But there is a big problem: there is no hostel for boys or girls. So this is a bad thing about it. The classrooms are very good. If you have any problems, all the teachers are supportive.

Faculty: There are more than 50 faculty members at IITE University. They are so supportive and friendly to all of the students. The curriculum at IITE is good. The time of the college is 7:30 to 3:00 pm. There are 5 subjects in the B.A. Category and 3 subjects in the B.Ed. category that change every semester. The exam pattern is also good. There are 70 marks of the university exam and 30 marks of the internal exam.

Other: I chose this course because it saved me one year of B.A. The best thing about the college is that it saves one year. I think they need to put hostels on campus because we live in private hostels, which cost more money. The college is government-owned, and they are taking too much; it feels like INR 22,000 per semester, and we have to live in private hostels, so there we have to pay INR 10,000 per month.

Our college has good infrastructure for teachers.

Placements: Placements for private schools are now available in the Gujarat region. The Indian Institute of Teacher Education university course is one of the best courses for teacher education, so a placement cell works at the institute for students to get placements after completing their degree.

Infrastructure: All facilities are good but there are no hostels. You have to manage it yourself. On campus, there is a canteen that serves hygienic food to students. Wi-Fi is available but not providing a password to students. Sports and games are supported by the institute.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced. The course curriculum is well-designed and acquired using new technology. Our labs are well-equipped, and exams are taken frequently by the institute. The education subjects are more focused than the science subjects in college.

Indian Institute of Teacher Education creates future teachers.

Placements: No students from our college got placements in my course because our college does not provide placements. Our college is about teacher education and create the best teachers in India.

Infrastructure: Our college does not have a hostel facility and it is our responsibility to find the PG or any living facility. The hostel facility was available one year ago but this year, the hostel is closed and does not have a low college fee. Sports are available in our college.

Faculty: All the teachers in our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is rated with 3 stars and average. All teachers in our college are knowledgeable but sometimes the college timetable is not good and the students are not interested in the timetable.

Other: I chose this course because IITE Gandhinagar provides B.Sc. with B.Ed in four years. This is a good part of our college.

Review of Indian Institute of Teacher Education.

Placements: Teachers university has changed my life in every aspect. All of the seats are taken at the time of placements in our batch. Students have to choose their subjects by their interests. There are not any companies but students can say that students are willing to be the future teacher and students also learn many types of skill courses in IITE Gandhi Nagar as IITE offers an integrated education course with skill development classes.

Infrastructure: Boys are having facilities in the hostel, but girls do have that facility including a canteen in this college for everyone. A library facility is also there. It provides air-conditioner and classrooms for our better learning. In security factors, IITE has a strong effect.

Faculty: It is officially granted by UGC itself and IITE is the only university for teacher education in the whole of Asia that provides integrated teacher education. IITE all courses are curriculum relevant. Teachers are like a family in this university.

Placements: In this college, no packages are given to the students.

Infrastructure: In this college, the facilities are good. It provides many laboratories for different subjects. The classrooms are good, and the library facility is provided. Wi-Fi is also available, and there is no hostel facility. There is a canteen in this college. Sports and games facilities are also available in this college.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very good. They are well qualified and have a wide knowledge. It makes the student industry-ready. Exams are not hard in this college. Teachers are good and they are Ph.D. scholars. They prepare students for examination like TET, TAT, GPSC, and UPSC.

Other: I opted for this course to become a teacher. Convocation, youth fests, and sports events are conducted in this college.

IITE Gandhinagar PhD Admission 2021

IITE Gandhinagar offers PhD admission part-time and full-time. The duration of the part-time PhD is four years, and the full-time is three years. PhD admission 2021 is granted on the basis of merit of entrance test scores. Those candidates who have cleared UGC-NET/GSET/JRF in Education will be exempted from appearing in the Entrance Test – i3T.

Candidates who have been exempted from taking the i3T Entrance Test are eligible to take the GDPI. If an applicant wants to increase his or her merit score, he or she might take the IITE entrance test. The higher the score in either the UGC-Net/GSLET/GSET or the IITE Entrance Test, the better the merit.

IITE Gandhinagar Application Process 2021

IITE Gandhinagar application is offered in both offline and online modes. The process is listed below:

Online Method

Step 1- Visit the official website of the University.

Step 2- Click on the direct link provided on the homepage to apply online.

Step 3- Fill in all the necessary details required to fill the application form and upload the image in the prescribed format.

Step 4- Click on the ‘Submit Now’ button and then pay the required amount of the application fee. Online Application & Processing Charges – Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for SC/ST Candidates)

Documents required at the time of Admission

At the time of admission counselling, the candidate must produce self-attested copies of the following papers, as well as a printout of the registration form:

Qualifying Examination Mark sheet.
School Leaving Certificate, Transfer Certificate or Migration Certificate
Caste certificate for a candidate
Certificate of Physical Disability issued and duly signed by the Civil Surgeon/ competent Medical Authority; in case of a Physically Handicapped candidate

IITE Gandhinagar Reservations

90% - Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination from the institutions located in the State of Gujarat
10% - Candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination from the institutions located outside the state of Gujarat

If seats remain vacant in any of the above categories, seats will be filled by candidates of another category. The candidate of Other States shall be admitted, if their attained score is equivalent or above of the score of the last merit of admitted or likely to be admitted, general category candidates.

Note: The off-shore candidates may be admitted to these courses subject to fulfilment of criteria fixed by the Government of India from time to time

IITE encourages deserving students. Only the top five per cent of admitted students who have achieved 75% in i3T are eligible for a two-semester tuition price waiver.
