DU CUET Subject Combination 2027: Know UG Program Wise Eligibility; Mapping Criteria

The CUET UG cut off is determined by CUET participating universities seperately. Parameters on the basis of which CUET UG cut off is released are:

• Total number of candidates that appeared for the CUET UG exam
• The number of seats offered by the participating universities through CUET UG
• The difficulty level of the CUET exam
• Overall performance of the test takers (pass percentage/ score range, etc.)

CUET cut off is based on the percentile of the candidate. To calculate the CUET percentile following formula is applied:

100*Number of candidates appeared in the session with a raw score is equal to or less than a candidate/ total number of candidates appeared for CUET UG.

Jamia Milia Islamia releases the CUET merit list instead of CUET cutoff list. Candidates who will be shortlisted can check their names on the merit list when released. JMI releases the CUET merit list soon after the declaration of CUET results. 

Students can access the CUET UG cut off list only after the cut offs are released by the CUET UG participating universities. The following steps should be followed to access the CUET cut off list of universities candidate is desirous to take admission in.

• Visit the official website of the applied and participating institutes
• On the homepage, click on the link to the current academic session CUET Cut Off
• A new login page will open on screen. Enter the credentials and submit
• Now, you can access the CUET UG cut off list when released

The above steps will be applicable only if instittues release the CUET UG cut offs. Otherwise, if the institutes release merit lists carrying their scores, then the minimum score would be considered as the CUET UG cut off. Universities like Delhi University does not released CUET cut off. Candidates will know the college/course allocated on the basis of the preferences filled by the candidate while filling the application form.

Candidates may be allotted different CUET 2026 exam centres for different dates and slots. However, the city would most likely be the same. Candidates must check the exam centre details carefully in the admit card and appear in the correct CUET centre. Candidates will be issued the CUET intimation slip three to four days prior to the day of examination. On release of the CUET intimation slip, candidates can know the exam centre allotted and can make the preparations for travel accordingly.

Candidates must note that different admit card and intimation slip will be issued for each exam. Candidates cannot re-use the admit card of previous slot or session.

CUET UG cut off will vary from course to course and universities. Go on the official website of university/organaisation. Check the courses offered and eligibility test that they should appear in for admission to desired course. The choice of language/domain subject and General test will depend upon the course and university. Candidates will be able to opt for one or more tests as per the requirement of the course and university from the following sections:

• Section I - 13 Languages
• Section II - 23 Domain Specific Subjects
• Section III - General Test

For admission to the desirous University/Institution, the candidates must appear in CUET 2027 in the Languages and Domain-Specific subjects as per the Program-Specific Eligibility for which s(he) is desirous of taking admission. For instance, if a candidate wishes to apply for B.Com (Hons.) programme in Delhi University, he/she will be required to make the subject combination as :

Combination I: Any one Language from List A + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1
OR
Combination II: Any one Language from List A + Accountancy/Book Keeping + Any two subjects out of which at least one should be from List B1

Candidates are advised to check CUET programme-specific eligibility criteria before filling the application form, failing which they will not qualify for further admission process. 

There is no limit to the number of password reset attempts a candidate can make for CUET login. If an applicant has forgotten their password and needs to reset it, they can follow the instructions provided on the CUET website to reset their password.

Yes, candidates can get admission with 570 marks in Delhi University. The marks vary depending upon the choice of course, criteria and college. For admission to north campus colleges of DU, candidates must secure a minimum of 750 marks. 570 score in CUET makes candidate eligible for courses like BA, B.Sc Pass and other less demanding courses.

To take admission to B.Sc Hons. in Chemistry, candidates must select the below CUET Science subjects while filling the CUET application form 2026:

Combination I: Chemistry + Biology/ Biological Studies/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry + Physics

OR

Combination II: Chemistry + Biology/Biological Studies/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics

Merit will be based on the best CUET scores obtained

CUET cutoff vary from college to college. However if a candidate is seeking admission to top central universities in India they must score aboe 750 marks to get admission in top courses like B.Com Hons., B.A Eco Hons. B.Sc and so forth. For admission to good colleges, candidates must score above 650 marks in CUET.
