NTA reopened the CUET UG 2026 registration window. Candidates could apply for CUET UG 2026 till February 26 (11.50 PM) at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates preparing for CUET UG must have completed the online application form to sit for exam. Before filling the CUET 2026 application form, candidates must make sure they have all the necessary documents and information ready. They must also meet the specified CUET eligibility criteria to avoid cancellation of their candidature. The deadline to pay CUET UG 2026 form fee has been extended till February 26, 2026. Only those who will complete the CUET application process and pay the CUET 2026 application fee will be able to download the intimation slip and admit card once available. The CUET 2026 admit card will be released three to four days before the examination date. NTA has also released the tentative dates for CUET 2026 as May 11 to May 30, 2026. The exam will be conducted in a CBT mode at various centres across India and internationally.

Candidates applying for CUET UG 2026 exam must be updated with the important dates for application form:

After getting the above documents ready, candidates can begin filling the CUET 2026 application form by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1- Visit the official website of CUET 2026
Visit the official website of CUET 2026: cuet.nta.nic.in.
Click on the tab ‘Register’ displayed on the homepage. Screen will display the ‘Instructions and Procedures for online submission of application form’. Read the instructions carefully and confirm by checking the box at the end to proceed with filling of application form.
Now the screen will display the CUET registration form. Candidates will be required to enter their details, address, and choose a password for future logins.
Now enter the security pin and click on the tab ‘Submit and send OTP’.
Step 5- Login
Now candidates can login with the credentials created. To proceed with the filling of CUET application form 2026, candidates must enter:

Step 7- Preview the CUET application form

Step 8- Payment of CUET application fee
In this step, the applicant may proceed with payment of the CUET application form fees. Applicants can pay the CUET fees 2026 by choosing different payment options. NTA will provide an opportunity to make corrections in the CUET form 2026. The correction window was open till February 11, 2026.
