No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India.
Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.
The M.Tech Civil Engineering syllabus follows a more practical and industry-oriented approach, where students are given advanced-level understanding of Civil Engg. concepts with a focus on a particular area like Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, etc.
There are rigorous theory classes, case studies, field visits, and project work, all of which combined are expected to make the students job-ready for the future.

- Mathematics: A mathematical background includes understanding of Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Statistic Stamina.
- Physics: Mechanics, electricity & magnetism, kinetics & dynamics, thermodynamics and wave & optics.
- Chemistry: This common general chemistry course involves sub-topics such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry among others.
- Programming: C+, Python, Java
- Engineering fundamentals: Statistics, dynamics, fluids and their action, heat and its work, properties of matter
- Engineering design: Aesthetics, reasoning process, design tools and methods, using of computer-aided design (CAD).
Rest, the subjects taught in the BTech courses would be specialization-specific, based on your chosen field.
To be honest, a large amount of programming is involved in Electronics and Communication Engineering. C, C+, or Python, types of languages you'll study in the first year only. They then use this programming language in subsequent courses to develop software for microcontrollers, digital signal processors, and other electronic devices.
