Out of the 1025 seats offered by Kashmir University 720 seats are offered by SSM College of Engineering. Its admission process is also different as the admission in the university take place through the JKCET entrance exams, whereas, admission into other colleges of Kashmir University take place through the JEE Mains entrance exam.
