Kerala Agricultural University BTech course admission is entrance-based. Admission to Bachelor in Technology courses, the university and its accepted colleges accept either KEAM, conducted by the Commission of Entrance Examinations (CEE) or ICAR CUET UG. 80% of the seats in BTech courses are offered as per the candidates' KEAM engineering rank, and 20% according to the ICAR CUET UG scores. Step 1: Kerala Agricultural University BTech Application Process 2025

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of KAU (www.kau.in). On its homepage, click on the ‘education tab’

Step 1.2: Further, click on notifications and then click on ‘Online Admission Portal’

Step 1.3: Click on candidate registration and register by addressing details, including the applicant's name, date of birth, gender, address of communication, email ID and mobile number

Step 1.4: A verification link will be sent to the applicants' registered email ID. Click on the link to verify the account and proceed with further steps.

Step 1.5: Click on ‘candidate login’ to log in to your account with a user ID and password sent to your registered email ID

Step 1.6: An application form, along with step-by-step clickables, will open up. Fill each section of the application form carefully. Hit the submit button once done.

Step 1.7: After submitting the online application, take a printout of the same and submit it along with hard copies of mandatory documents and a DD of the KAU BTech application fee to the below-mentioned address within seven days of online application submission.

Step 2: Release of Rank List/ Provisional Merit List

According to applicants' acheived scores in the entrance exam, the university releases a provisional rank list on the portal. Candidates are required to visit the official website of the university frequently and check if they get shortlisted, and keep documents ready for admission counselling/ document verification.

Step 3: Document Verification/ Counselling process

Shortlisted candidates must go through a counselling process or verify their documents in their selected college affiliated with Kerala Agricultural University. Additionally, there are chances that candidates will get a seat in the BTech course at the university's campus.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation

The shortlisted candidates can confirm their seat by verifying their documents and paying the valid amount of the course fee.
