Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy
3.6
3Placements3Infrastructure5Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
College experience at Pushpagiri.
Placements: Placements are relatively fewer. Placements for Pharmaceutical companies and industries are very limited. Placements for hospital and retail pharmacy or drug stores come very often. The placement cell is getting more active and has had more placements and job offers recently. Internships are provided.
Infrastructure: There is a Wi-Fi facility in the college, but there is no such facility in the girls' hostel. Laboratories are moderately equipped, but there is a need for more improvement. The library is well-equipped with reference and standard textbooks. Mess is average during my period of study, but has improved now.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good and helpful in providing us with an experience of how the pharmacy sector works. The pass percentage is good, and passing the exams is fairly easy.

Students interested in studying with a positive vibe are satisfied. Teacher interaction is perfect.
Placements: 99% get 2–3 LPA. Lectures from every college also recruit in this college. It is better than graduation in Mangalore (Life Pharmacy). 100% plant studies are available. Careers include research, professor or assistant professor, research scientist, and regulatory affairs specialist. Along with quality control assurance officer, clinical research associate, hospital or clinical pharmacist, and others like pharmaceutical production, industries, and medical writing.
Infrastructure: They have good infrastructure and good surroundings. The girls’ hostel is near the college. Wi-Fi is available. Smart classrooms are available. Each class has different types of bench desks, chair desks, or sets of chairs and tables. Staff are very punctual, and labs are good. The library is available with books for every subject recommended in the syllabus and other medical-related books. There are many advanced plans to increase the library infrastructure. Hostels have facilities. The boys’ hostel is not nearby, but college bus facilities are available. Mess facilities and stores are available.
Faculty: Teachers are M.Pharm and Pharm.D qualified with GPAT. They are helpful and knowledgeable. A few newly recruited teachers have lower teaching quality, but they interact very well. The course gives students more knowledge about biological sources and research on new drugs. The course is a little bit hard, but the pass percentage is 80–80%.
Other: As per my point of view, day by day, new patients and new diseases are arriving, so the scope with dedication is high. We can know about every plant and animal. Their good side, and also get ideas about lifestyle care, dietary plans, and supplements. All activities are there. Every month, there are different kinds of programs. Programs or sessions are arranged for every disease day about prevention and etiology.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the crowd, good placement, and good infrastructure and facilities
Placements: 50% of students got placed from our course. Depending upon where you are placed, I think in Kerala, the highest starting salary is Rs. 20,000. Apollo is one of the recruiting companies for this course. 99 percent of students got internships, I guess. Clinical pharmacist is the top role offered in this course.
Infrastructure: In our college, labs, classrooms, library, and even a digital library are also available. I think the facilities are really good, the food is also very tasty, and they change the menu every month, and there is a mess meeting also. Medical facilities are also provided. There are various games and sports we can engage in at our hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Our college has very qualified and knowledgeable faculty members. Teaching quality is also top-notch. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. It is not that difficult if u study well. Mostly, 100 percent is the pass percentage.
Other: I wanted to take a course in the medical field, so D.Pharm is a good opportunity for you if you like this field. The best thing I feel is interacting with patients and getting to know about diseases and their treatment, and all I think I wish is that I had a government job. There are various events in our college, and we celebrate almost all main fests, and the campus crowd is not highly crowded, but still crowded. There are various extracurricular activities in our college.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy
3.4

Overall experience after 4 years.
Placements: Placements are very low comparatively. We had only received 1-2 placement drives during my study period. Apollo Hospital was one of the major recruitment companies that came there. After the completion of my period of study, there have been better placement opportunities recently.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure have been overall average for the college. Most of the laboratory equipment and raw materials are kind of average only. They provide Wi-Fi mainly for project and practice schoolwork. The library is well-maintained. Hostel facilities are also average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in almost every department. The internals are conducted strictly and have helped in overall time management and following of a proper study schedule. University exams are somewhat difficult compared to. The pass percentage is average as well.

Good for studies and very strict.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the college. There is a posting in our own college's hospital as a clinical pharmacist. The top role offered in our course is a clinical pharmacist. There are the highest, the lowest, and the average package offered in our D.Pharm course. 50 percent of students are placed.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our course include a number of classrooms, a library, and free Wi-Fi on campus. There are labs for different departments, and in the hostel, there are 2 wardens for girls and one warden for boys. There is the main chief warden.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching is so useful. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty good sometimes, but difficult too. 50 percent is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because I love to know more about drugs and love to interact with people.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2026
Offered by Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital
2.2
3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
Review of Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College and Hospital.
Placements: The college is a medical college, so there is no concept of placement. Some people who complete their MBBS course from here prefer to give NEET PG or transfer to the Middle East for good opportunities. Kerala itself has low employment if you are just an MBBS student. No companies are coming for placement. Students have to do a permanent 1-year internship where they help and learn more about the practical knowledge of a doctor.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are quite big. It's an old college established in 2002, so the classrooms are like those of a government college. A smart board is there for lectures, with no Wi-Fi facility available in class. The library is quite big, and all the skill labs and subject labs are properly maintained. The quality of the hostel is bad. There is no choice, you must take triple occupancy as there is not enough space, especially in the girls' hostel. There is no canteen in the hostel, and the mess of the college is the worst; the food is not even good, hygienic, and they charge too much for it.
Faculty: As this is a medical college, you will feel the stress, assignments, and exam pressure from faculty members. Teachers are knowledgeable and have good teaching quality. The course is curriculum-relevant and makes the students ready for real-life challenges. Semester exams are tough to pass. In fact, Kerala University of Health Sciences is among the toughest universities to pass. The pass percentage is generally above 80%. Teachers help you a lot.
Other: I chose this course to become a doctor and be socially well-recognized. People look up to you. The stress should have been less in my course, that is one thing I want to change. There are no events or fests, a high campus crowd, and calm surroundings. Welcome to the Jail and Concentration Camps. You cannot leave the hostel without loads of permission signs.
