It has absolutely good infrastructure and placements for the future.
Placements: There are 100 students in our batch. There are well-experienced teachers in college, so there is a possibility for every student to pass exams. It is a good college with high certificate value. It is the best course for the future in India and foreign countries.
Infrastructure: There are good labs in college. There are at least four labs for each subject and a prayer hall for both girls and boys separately. There is free Wi-Fi in the college for teachers and students. There is a library for every student for free. All classrooms have a projector.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are well-educated and well-experienced. They have high knowledge. Exams are easy because they are semester-wise. The pass percentage is 100%. Teachers teach properly so that it is easy to understand.
Other: There is high scope for this course in the future, so I chose it.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2025
Offered by Lisie College of Pharmacy
3.4
2Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Good infrastructure, supportive faculty members, but limited placements and campus activities.
Placements: At Lisie College of Pharmacy, B. Pharma placements are currently below average, with only about 10-15% of students placed through campus recruitment. Most students pursue higher studies or apply independently to hospitals, pharma companies, or the retail sector. On-campus placements are limited, but students have worked or interned in companies like Medlife, Master Medcity, Lisie Hospital, local pharmacies, wholesale distributors, clinical research organizations, and medical coding companies. Around 60-70% complete unpaid academic internships. Common roles include retail pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, medical coding analyst, clinical data entry operator, and pharma sales representative. Advanced roles require further studies or certification.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and academic facilities at Lisie College of Pharmacy are well-developed and student-friendly. College has modern, well-equipped labs for core subjects like pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmacognosy, and pharmaceutical chemistry. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and well-ventilated, with projectors and digital boards. Wi-Fi is available in the library and labs for academic use. Library is well-stocked with textbooks, journals, e-resources, and digital databases. Campus is neat with clean restrooms and drinking water. There is no canteen or mess, and hostel is not available. Medical care is easily accessible via Lisie Hospital. Basic sports and games facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers at Lisie College of Pharmacy are friendly, approachable, and supportive. Most are highly qualified, with several pursuing or having completed their Ph.D. They update their knowledge through seminars and training, which enhances teaching quality focused on concept clarity, practical application, and exam preparation. B.Pharma curriculum is relevant, follows PCI guidelines, and has been revised to include subjects like pharmacovigilance, clinical research, and regulatory affairs. While it provides a strong foundation, additional certification or higher studies may be needed for specialized roles. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with changing patterns and digital evaluation. The pass percentage is 70-80%.
Other: I chose B.Pharma because of my interest in healthcare and medicine, and the opportunity to build a career that directly contributes to patient well-being. The best part of this course is its strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of pharmacy, supported by experienced faculty and good lab infrastructure. However, I wish the course offered more industry exposure, soft skill training, and better placement support. While the campus is peaceful and academically focused, there are limited events, fests, or extracurricular activities. Connectivity to the city is good.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2027
Offered by College of Pharmacy, Kannur Medical College

A college having enough potential if explore properly but neglected by the management.
Placements: The Pharmacy College does not provide on-campus interviews for final year students as engineering colleges do. Instead, graduates must apply for jobs after graduation. Fortunately, the job opportunities are quite good, as there are many pharmacies in the area. In addition, companies such as Cipla and Lupin hire graduates to work in their companies.
Infrastructure: The college lacks infrastructure, and often the labs don't have the necessary chemicals or apparatus for practical work. Running out of reagents is a common occurrence in the labs, which is a major inconvenience. The hostel provides a safe environment, and the food is good and healthy. The medical college has a cafeteria that is open to students and visitors. The college holds arts and sports events every year, and students participate with enthusiasm and competitiveness.
Faculty: The faculty at my college are good enough. They are qualified and knowledgeable enough to clarify our doubts. However, sometimes our college doesn't have the faculty for a particular subject, and that can make it difficult for students to learn the material. Exams are conducted properly, and the curriculum is followed without fail. Semester exams are hard if we don't study regularly and properly, but if we do, it's easy to get a passing grade. However, only hardworking students can manage to get a distinction.
Other: The college is not worth the money, but the course is. The campus lacks social life, and the pharmacy college is located in the medical college, so we don't have much connection with the hospital or the people there. I chose this college to study further and research in medicinal chemistry. I wish that our course had more practical exposure in hospitals. The college conducts cultural programs and celebrates holidays like Onam, Christmas, and Ifthar. Scholarships are not provided.

Life as a PG student at Trivandrum Medical College.
Placements: About 80% of students get placed in this course. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest is 10 LPA. The top roles offered are assistant and associate professor. 100% of students get internships from the course in various government and private hospitals. Top recruiting hospitals are Apollo, AIIMS, SRMC, and other government hospitals.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge, spread over several acres of land. They have well-air-conditioned classrooms and a library with a wide collection of books for those who are avid readers. Facilities in the hostel are also good. They have a mess and canteen too, which are run by students themselves and are affordable as well as tasty.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. The curriculum, though vast, is relevant to the course. The semester exams are hard, but they help in training students for the final exam and in improving the pass percentage. The pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: The campus crowd is mind-blowing. There are a lot of cultural events and other fests like PG Night. Workshops are also conducted, which improve skills and add hands-on experience. I chose this course because I am passionate about it, and this course is good because it makes us self-efficient.

Review of Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Placements: About 80% of students got placed in this course. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are private hospitals like Apollo. Majority about 80% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered are assistant and associate professor roles.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are too good. The library is vast and extremely useful for voracious readers. Hostel and canteen are also very good. The mess is run by the students themselves. There is also a huge cricket ground for all the cricket lovers.
Faculty: The academics and curriculum are very vast, and hence frequent exams keep the topics clear and avoid last-minute struggle. The course is relevant and it does make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to hard, and the pass percentage is 80%.
Other: The course is very interesting and provides hands-on experience to do surgeries. It would be better if there were more in-depth teaching during the PG courses to enhance knowledge. Campus surroundings and crowds are extensive. There are PG nights and other events exclusive to PGs throughout different courses.
