Empowering optometrists for a bright future.
Placements: My batch comprises approximately 30 students, and the fee for this course is relatively affordable. Some top recruiting companies or hospitals include Giridhar Eye Institute, Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital, and other reputed eye care chains and hospitals. In the future, we can work as clinical optometrists, vision therapists, contact lens specialists, optical sales and marketing professionals, researchers, or educators in eye care. Opportunities also exist in corporate eye care settings and international healthcare sectors.
Infrastructure: Our department is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a modern refraction unit and advanced diagnostic instruments. We also have dedicated labs for contact lenses, binocular vision, and low vision, as well as smart classrooms and a well-stocked departmental library to support both theoretical and clinical training.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive. They provide us with theoretical understanding and practical skills essential for professional development. The pass percentage in our batch is consistently high, with most students performing well in academic and clinical assessments.
Other: I chose this course because I have a deep interest in eye care and a desire to contribute to improving vision and the overall quality of life for individuals.
