B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2028
Offered by Government Medical College, Pariyaram

Poor faculty, good placements, great infrastructure. Hostel facilities need improvement.
Placements: Recruitment is through the LBS Centre. The average fee is almost Rs. 50,000 per annum. As it is a government college, many students get recruited to the college itself for internships. Many also work here after clearing competitive exams. Most students also go abroad for higher studies or jobs.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is overall good. It has Wi-Fi connectivity, separate classrooms for each year of B.Sc. and M.Sc. students, various departments, and more than five staff rooms along with HOD rooms. The library is well developed. Hostel facilities are limited compared to other nearby hostels. But the quality of food is good. There is also a sick room and an outdoor play area for various games.
Faculty: The college has well-qualified lecturers who are knowledgeable and have good technical abilities. The course curriculum is relevant and has good future scope. Semester exams are difficult as the college is affiliated with KUHS University. The college has a pass percentage of 95% and above.
Other: This course offers jobs after graduation. It has a very good scope for the future. We get to work in shifts of 6 or 8 hours. That is quite a good thing. I wish the semester exams were a bit easier or of moderate difficulty. Our college has frequent extracurricular activities, fests, events, scholarship programs, etc.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029
Offered by Government Medical College, Thrissur

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: 100% of students get placed in this course. Most of them move on to further studies, such as pursuing postgraduate studies. The internship has to be completed at the same college. After the internship, students can either practice MBBS as general practitioners or take postgraduation after writing NEET PG.
Infrastructure: The campus is very huge with lots of trees and greenery around. There are three hostels, two of which are new. Wi-Fi is available in all hostels. There are study halls in all of them. A library is available inside the academic complex. The college infrastructure is old but good.
Faculty: The overall academic calendar is very hectic. The strictness of faculty depends on the department. There are almost no holidays, especially if you are planning to go home. Semester exams are difficult mainly in the first year, and then get easier. The pass percentage is around 90% and above.

Review of Government Medical College, Kottayam.
Placements: As this was a government college, there were no direct placements. After the four-year course, we had an internship lasting about seven months at our college. However, I could assure that the alumni of our college had become renowned in their respective specialties. The job opportunities depended on our skills and knowledge.
Infrastructure: Even though we lacked a beautiful and comfortable campus. We had air-conditioned classrooms and a central library. There were hostels available for both men and women. Even though the hostel facilities were not top-notch, they were places where we made a lot of memories. The quality of the food was not something to complain about. It was average. Our college also had a volleyball court, a basketball court, an open gymnasium, and an indoor badminton court to promote physical activities among students. The only expenses we had to worry about were textbooks and records. Everything else was free.
Faculty: Most teachers were very helpful, although not everyone was. They were qualified and knowledgeable. Apart from teaching, they created a research attitude among students. There were many opportunities to learn everything ourselves. Exams were conducted every month in the form of short exams and sessionals to prepare students for university examinations.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) - Batch of 2027
Offered by Grace College of Pharmacy
3.8
5.0Placements3.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty2.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
I personally recommend this college if you are focused on studies.
Placements: Students attend interviews with companies like Sun Pharma and Dr. Reddy’s for the position of Pharmacy Representative. The lowest salary is around Rs. 7,000. The highest is Rs. 15,000 or above for interns. Students can also pursue careers in industry, clinical pharmacy, or retail pharmacy. After B.Pharm, they can also go abroad, where salaries can be Rs. 1 lakh or more per month.
Infrastructure: The college has average facilities overall. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are good, and the laboratory is perfect. Sports and games are available, but they are not encouraged much as the college is more focused on studies. The most disappointing thing is that there is no canteen.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are good overall. The teaching and notes are also good. Teachers are qualified and care about our marks more than anything else. Students are often judged based on their marks, which is the worst thing. University follows the standards of Kerala University of Health Sciences. Exams are tough, but the degree provides good value, especially if you plan to go abroad.
Other: I chose this course because I like it.

A good college that is not that much costly and can add something valuable to your life.
Placements: College makes you that much more skilled that you can easily get a good job opportunity or crack the Master's exam in central universities. Kerala Ayurveda is top-notch across India as well as worldwide. Many doctors secure an Air1 rank in AIAPGET from this college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are smart with digital boards and mics are also there. Hostel also serves good food and has Wi-Fi across the entire college campus including hostel, classrooms, and the hospital. Labs are also nice and patient, and per day is also good in the college hospital.
Faculty: Teachers, non-teaching staff, and even students are top-notch. They make sure that students are getting knowledge from what the teacher is teaching and also students are studying after class hours by asking questions in the next class and they are completely following the NCISM curriculum.

MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery - Batch of 2029
Offered by Sree Gokulam Medical College
3.8
3.0Placements4.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty4.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
Everything you need in a medical college, you will find it here, Sree Gokulam Medical College.
Placements: 150 students in each batch. Placements depend on the branch. Professors and HoD, which is the highest post for them, get 4-5 lakh per month. JR for them Rs. 50-70,000 per month. AIIMS, other private hospitals, and colleges like KMC, Medanta, and Apollo recruit. 1 year internship is mandatory in our own college.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are far above average and better than those of a government college and hospital. Mess food is good. 24hr Wi-Fi service in both the college and hostel. Libraries are there with thousands of medical books. Hostels are spacious and clean. Mess and canteen are sufficient in terms of hygiene, and the quality of food we are getting is the best compared to all other medical colleges in Kerala. Hostels are spacious, mostly with attached washrooms and 2 beds per room. Regular sports and events occur.
Faculty: Teachers are dedicated towards their profession. They are punctual and deliver lectures without missing any relevant knowledge. MBBS is a definitely relevant course. No need to mention the importance of medicine. Semester exams are based on the university exam pattern, so it's not that difficult, only important and relevant questions are asked in exams. As for my batch [2024], we all passed our first year. Most of the time, the overall passing percentage is above 90%.
Other: The MBBS course I chose, of course, is for earning good and for treating people, so that I can connect with people. These themselves are the best things about MBBS. I wish the syllabus division could be improved, meaning that rather than telling everything, only the important things should be told. A lot of activities, festivals, and events happen here so that students' minds can remain fresh and active, and they will not feel boredom or depression.
