Yes, the University of Kota is approved by the UGC. It is also accredited by the NAAC with a B grade. Kota University was founded in 2003. Kota University, through 5 faculty, over 15 departments, 6 Shodhpeeth, and 192 affiliated colleges, offers UG, PG, PG Diploma and Certificate courses to students across Social Science, Law, Commerce & Management, Science, and Education streams. The University has national and international collaborations by signing MoUs with the Centre for Climate Science & Policy Research, Linkoping University, Sweden and DCM Sriram Consolidated Limited Kota, etc. UOK Kota offers various facilities to students like a central library, digital library consortium, cafeteria, hostel, sports complex, gym, labs, shuttle service, auditorium, hospital / medical facilities, and other facilities to students.

There are no placement details available on the official website of Kota University. However, the Kota University has released the NIRF report 2024 on its official website. According to the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to the PG 2-year batch 2023 stood at INR 2.20 LPA. The same is tabulated below:

Kota University charges a one-time hostel fee of INR 500 from all its students with an additional refundable security deposit of INR 2,000 for Indian students and INR 10,000 for foreign students. Nominal charges are also included in the hostel fee on a per-month basis, such as water (INR 100), electricity (INR 50), and hostel development (INR 100), etc. Mess charges are collected separately on the basis of actual expenditure with an annual advance of INR 5,000. The monthly hostel fee varies according to courses, such as

• For UG – INR 500 per month
• For PG – INR 750 per month
• For Ph.D – INR 1,000 per month

The course duration for BPEd at University of Kota is two years. The programmes are offered under affiliated colleges of Kota University. To secure a seat at UOK candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, passed calss 12 with minimum marks and selection will be based on merit.
