Kota University Course Admissions 2025: Dates, Fee, Eligibility, Selection, Merit List

Kota University has more than 190 affiliated colleges, 5 faculty, and 15 departments. The faculty members are Arts, Commerce and Management, Education, Law, Science and Social Science. The university offers various Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD courses. The courses offered are MA, MBA (IB), MCA, MSW, LLM, MPEd, MCom (Accounting & Finance), BSc (Biology and Mathematics), BSc (Hons) Physics, MSc (Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Wildlife Science, and Life Science), M.Tech (Solar Energy), MA/MSc (Geography and Mathematics), MA (Development Studies and Heritage, Tourism, Museology, and Archaeology), Diploma in Culture and History of Rajasthan, Certificate in Tourist Guide, along with MPhil and PhD in various disciplines.

Kota University provides a two-year, four-semester full-time Master of Science (MSc) programme. Admission to the MSc programme at Kota University is determined by the candidate's performance on their most recent qualifying exam. Except for Zoology and Wildlife Science, all specialisations have the same minimum score requirements. The university furthermore provides MSc programme through its affiliated colleges. Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to get admission to MSc course: 

Eligibility: B.Sc. In the relevant stream with a minimum 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for M.Sc. Zoology & Wild Life Science) for General category candidates of Rajasthan and 60% aggregate for other state candidates

Selection: Merit-based

Candidates who are interested in admission to the UOK M.Ed course must have completed their three-year bachelor's or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognised university. Admissions at UOK are based on scores obtained in the last qualifying examinations. Once selected candidates must prepare the relevant documents for verification purposes.

The course duration for BPEd at University of Kota is two years. The programmes are offered under affiliated colleges of Kota University. To secure a seat at UOK candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, passed calss 12 with minimum marks and selection will be based on merit. The BPEd course offered 200 seat intake through the Shiv Sankat Haran Adrash Sanskrit Mahavidyala and SNS College 100 each, to apply applicants can visit official website. 

As per the official website, the total fee of the four-year BPharma course offered at Kota University is INR 1.40 lakh. It includes the tuition fee of four academic years. 

The fee for the MSW course offered by UOK Kotak is INR 18,000. Kotak University offers a regular Master of Social Work MSW course in a full-time mode. Admission to this PG course is merit-based. Candidates should qualify for the basic eligibility criteria to be able to get a seat at the University of Kotak. The criteria is that the candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 48% aggregate. The University offers 20 seats for the MSW programme. Candidates can avail hostel facilities offered by the University of Kotak. Hostel seat is offered on the basis of merit. The hostel allotment list is uploaded on the hostel notice board. Selected candidates can submit the required documents to get a seat along with the hostel fee. The hostel fee is INR 4,000 (approximately) and mess charges are as per the expenditure by the students.

M.Sc in wildlife science is a two-year full-time curriculum having four semesters since its inception. There are about 20 seats in the University of Kota. The eligibility criteria for this course is as under: Eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree in Science/ Medical Science/ Engineering/ Veterinary Science/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Pharmacy/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications or a degree recognized as equivalent thereof should have studied in the science stream at higher secondary or other equivalent board. The minimum aggregate marks in Bachelor's degree recognized by UGC for unreserved category (UR/Gen) is 55% and for SC/ST/OBC/SOBC: Minimum Pass Marks. For other State: 60%. The admission is based on merit. Fee per annum: Rs 18000.

The MA course is a two-year programme that is divided into four semesters. This course offers a range of specialisations and is available at both affiliated and main campuses. Their are various subjects are offered in first semester, candidates can find the subject related details below:

Kota University has a seat intake of 160 for BSc offered in two specialisations and BSc (Hons.) in one specialisation. 

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is the basic eligibility for a General MBA offered at Kota University. For an MBA in International Business and Hospital Administration, a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 48% for General category candidates of Rajasthan, and 60% aggregate for other states' candidates.
