IFMR College true review for MBA students.
Placements: In my course, 128/280 have been placed till now. The highest placement offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. Top recruiters are JPMC, Moody's, ROC, and Indian banks. Top roles evaluation, credit analyst, risk. Generally, 35% got a good internship, and the remaining students have to settle for an average internship.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is awesome, the building and classroom are great, Wi-Fi is fine, the library is huge, and you will love it. The quality of the hostel is also decent, 2 sharing room, the quality of food is not good, breakfast is nice, but lunch and dinner are not that great, and it also has great sports and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is fine, you will like it. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the student industry-ready. Semester exams are tough, and students have study hard to get good marks. The pass percentage is around 90%.

Worth every penny, placements offered can be better.
Placements: Right now, when I am writing this review, the placements are ongoing as this year's job market situation is not quite satisfactory. Many students are hustling for jobs, they are even trying off-campus placements. The highest package offered in my batch till now is 20 LPA. Companies like Deloitte, TCS, and many more top companies came for campus recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure here is awesome. Library is very peaceful and maintained. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms and washrooms are also clean and well-maintained. Hostel facilities are also good. The quality of food offered in mess is also appreciable. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. The teaching quality here is worth every penny. Also, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. The level of semester exams is moderate, one can pass it if he/she studies well. Overall, the education quality provided here is good.
Other: I always wanted to pursue MBA so I chose this course and I loved studying everything.

Placement committee is helpful and opportunities are also good.
Placements: Till now, few companies have visited the campus like Uber, Google, Microsoft, BNY, and Expedia and all of them have offered internships to 3rd year students. Approximately, with the same stipend is around 1 LPA and more companies are set to come because this was just the first month of the season, and long way to go ahead.
Infrastructure: There is a sports club which organizes sports competitions in which anyone can participate, and they don't need to be professionals.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, especially in Software, and they have a deep knowledge of the subjects they teach. They allow students to communicate and encourage them very firmly to participate in the class which we really like about them. Exams are relatively on the easier side but branches like Electrical, ECE, and Mechanical are on the tougher side because they are core subjects.
Other: We have an annual fest called Abhudaya, which is decent. We have other fests, including both inter and intra-college. There are DJ nights and festival celebrations like Diwali, Onam, Ganapati puja, etc. A lot of clubs and committees are there in which students can apply as per their interests. They get chances to perform and come out of their comfort zone.

Review of Krea University.
Placements: About 10% of students got placed after the third year. The highest salary package offered is 14 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Companies like EY, etc., visit the college. Around 40% of students got internships from our course in the same field. Top roles offered are coding internships, math-based coding, AI engineering, projects on algorithm-based thinking, research projects, and research internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has great infrastructure and a beautiful campus. It provides excellent facilities like a library, classrooms, resources, etc. There are two labs for CS and data analytics and both have great systems and software. The food quality is sporadic, sometimes good, and sometimes bad. Recently it's not been great. Medical facilities are not great but sports facilities, canteens, etc., are good.
Faculty: Teachers are the best thing about Krea University. They are highly qualified and the best in their fields. The teaching quality is great as well, although they aren't good grades. The course curriculum is relevant to the current industry experience and batch-based computer science is taught. Semester exams' difficulty varies from course to course. The pass percentage is 50%.

Best facility providing MBA college.
Placements: The college placements are good but the packages are low. The average package offered is 2.5 Lacs and the highest is 11 Lacs. Accenture, Genpact, EXL, etc. hire many students. Accenture hires for test analyst profile, Genpact for business analyst, and EXL for consultant profile. Mostly Tech companies recruit students. 70% students got placed in our batch, but the internships are very low with most of them being unpaid and useless.
Infrastructure: The University infrastructure is modern having the latest technologies. The classrooms, benches, and library all are modern in design, the benches are colorful. Wi-Fi is available but it’s speed is less. Hostel facilities are provided in the college campus having a bed, a cupboard and a table for the students in sharing rooms. Washrooms are cleaned time to time. Both indoor and outdoor sports are played.
Faculty: The teachers are good but mostly English is used for teaching. There are 9 members for our branch of 50 students keeping an eye on each student. The teachers are funny, they crack jokes during the teaching so we do not feel bored in the lectures. The course curriculum mainly makes us an analyst in all analysis tools which are in the syllabus like advance excel, Tableau, power Bi, etc. The semester exams are for a total 100 marks, 70/30 is the pattern of the University. Exams difficulty level is medium.
Other: College campus and facilities are very good.

Altogether, I would say that the college is amazing and offers a lot of opportunities.
Placements: Since we are the first batch of IFMR's integrated course, it cannot be calculated as to how many students were placed. As per the data of 2023, our highest package was 22. 90 LPA with an average package of 13.50 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Barclays, Deloitte, EY, Morgan, Stanley and Well fargo. All the students got internships. The top roles offered are that of global risk analysis, wealth management, and strategy consultant.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available across the campus. There are various labs and many good sized and well maintained classrooms in the college. There is also a huge library. We have ample of facilities available in our hostels and the quality of food is average, but there are many food joints within the campus which serve delicious food. There is a 24 hours health center within the college with an ambulance for emergencies. We have badminton courts, football ground, volleyball court, etc.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and immensely helpful. They have an extreme level of knowledge and have amazing communication skills. The course is set with precision and it definitely makes the students industry ready. The exams are moderately difficult. The difficulty level varies from person to person but in my opinion, it is not very difficult.

IFMR Chennai APICET cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the MBA course, wherein the qualifying cutoff rank was 1626 for IFMR Chennai (KREA University). IFMR Chennai accepts various exams, like APICET, CAT, XAT for admission to the MBA programme.

Yes, IFMR Chennai (IFMR GSB at Krea University) is a good college for MBA, especially in Finance and Analytics. It has strong placements (average around INR 13 LPA, the highest INR 22.9 LPA), good faculty, and modern infrastructure. However, fees are high so ROI depends on individual performance
