It is a good place to start a business, make connections, and learn many new skills.
Placements: In our course, we get opportunities and many competitions happen to show our skills and enhance our knowledge to reach the top. It focuses on skills that are important in today's world. We have teamwork, guest talks, and seminars. It focuses more on practical aspects and provides surprise presentations which helps us to enhance our skills. We meet a lot of alumni who are working very well in their lives but our college did not provide them much placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent and if we need it we can easily use facilities. Both online e-library and offline libraries are available. If we have any issues regarding anything, then there is a committee that works on it. Every problem gets resolved in two to three days. The hostel is very strict and there is no freedom in it, so I support PG. It is more better than the hostel. There is one medical center and facilities are good. We have a proper ground for every sport like indoor and outdoor and games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. There are mentoring sessions where every student has to report a minimum twice in a semester, and it is compulsory. Most of the time the course curriculum is relevant, but sometimes it is only for fun or physical fitness. We have 4 exams per subject of which two are written based, two are activities, group assignment, and creativity type.
Other: I chose this course because I got here dual major course which is not available in most colleges. NRIs also came here to study so it is a good place for making connections and networking. Every day we have some event, and some special thing after classes. There are a lot of clubs so every club has some fest competitions. We also go for industrial visits. They provide us time for an internship every year for 1 month. I like my college but here the rules are strict. Attendance is mandatory and we get very less holidays.

Decent package and good course structure in 2024. Christ is the place to be.
Placements: Our placements are still ongoing while I am writing this review. The companies that've come for placements so far include Bosch, Mavericks, Joyride, Tata, etc. All the companies have had pre-placement talks and also given us detailed information on the job description and what their expectations are from us. The maximum package that we've received so far is 10 LPA, with the lowest being 3.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: There are 2 labs for the media department (1 for UG and 1 for PG). Both labs have the latest equipment and have soundproof walls to record or shoot your assignments. There are a lot of food options when it comes to the canteen. We have around 20–30 eateries on campus, ranging from lunch to snack options or even tea. The only problems are with sports grounds; you can't use them without permission. Also you cannot use it during class hours and you cannot use it after classes as University teams will take over for practice. Basically, the grounds are just there for the university, not for you.
Faculty: The exams are mostly submission-based, which keeps your creativity flowing and your brains running as you don't have to learn anything but apply whatever you know and have learned in class to the assignments. Most professors, although experienced, have a journalism background, which might not be ideal when you have a specialisation course like advertising or corporate communication, yet the course plan is set in such a way that you'll have a lot of self-learning happening for this course.

Good college for M.A. in design.
Placements: Christ College provides good opportunities for on-campus placement in the department of design. Many design companies visit colleges for campus hiring. TCS and HCL are the top recruiters at the college. Amazon offers the highest package at INR 26 LPA.
Infrastructure: Christ College has good infrastructure, hostels are well managed and mess food is average but affordable. Wi-Fi connections are only available in classrooms and labs, not in the entire college. The canteen provides various food items at a very cheap cost.
Faculty: Christ College has a well-defined course curriculum that is up-to-date for current industrial needs. Teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Semester exams are not very tough if you just go through the notes and books provided by the teacher.

Good placements, learnings and life.
Placements: The course consists of 160 students, out of whom 70% get placed easily. The highest earning package is INR 7 LPA, and the lowest is INR 4 LPA. The top role in the media industry is that of a news anchor or radio jockey. Everyone from this course gets an internship easily with the wide range of skills this course has provided us with. Top recruiting companies are not specific, such as Deccan Herald.
Infrastructure: The university is provided with internet all over the campus, and we also have access to the media lab. The food available on campus is nutritious and affordable, with a wide variety of options ranging from fruits to full-course thalis. I haven't stayed in the hostel personally, but my friends say that it provides the bare minimum at an affordable rate.
Faculty: The teaching quality is adequate and up to the mark; the course is very extensive and makes us learn about a lot of things in the media field. Exams are not difficult if one studies for them; the pass percentage is almost 100. The semesters are divided into six, and there is a good amount of break amongst the mid-semester and end-semester exams.
Other: This course has helped me learn about photography, content writing, Photoshop, podcasting, etc. The college holds a lot of cultural events to be a part of, and it has been very enjoyable being in college.

Good infrastructure and campus life with great exposure.
Placements: The top recruiting companies were Deloitte, Accenture, Schbang Bangalore, Thomas Reuters, Tophire, etc. and the placements were mainly for roles such as Digital Marketing, HR, PR, etc. The packages were decent however, the numbers of selected candidates were limited.
Infrastructure: The campus is very beautiful and has a very good infrastructure with media lab, VR lab, etc. that help students throughout the curriculum. The classrooms have projectors and all the other necessary equipment. The media department has a separate library with free Wi-Fi access apart from main library which is also called as "Knowledge Center" and is very helpful for studying and doing assignments. The hostels are strict with curfews and there is no mess facility available. The good thing is that there is free Wi-Fi, RO purified water, laundry area and other study facilities available. There are various health centers for both physical and mental issues available. There are multiple sports tournaments that take place, however, it is difficult to secure a place in the University team.
Faculty: The majority of the teachers are genuinely understanding and very knowledgeable. There isn't a set approach or organization for the majority of the curriculum or disciplines. While the course content provided is appropriate for the curriculum, and there are also numerous additional trainings and lectures that assist in preparing the students for the workplace. The tests for the semester are of a fair difficulty. While English and Psychology subjects have written tests at the middle and at the end of each semester, media subjects are often submission-based. Four evaluations make up the semester: CIA 1 (20), CIA 2 (50), CIA 3 (20), and Finish semester (100). The minimum pass percentage is 40% in all the CIAs combined and 40% in end semester.
Other: The exposure you get from the course is one of its best features. Also, you come across a variety of fascinating people. If you are someone who is very vocal and opinionated, this course is for you as there are several academic and cultural inter-course and intra-course events. The campus is constantly busy with competitions, festivals, and performances.

B.A. CEP is a very dynamic course.
Placements: This course is a very dynamic course as it is a triple major degree. It is a bachelor of arts in communication and media, English, and Psychology. Almost 80% of students get placed after this course. In the third year, it is mandatory to do an internship and submit a research paper. Top roles offered in this course include media personalities, journalists, content writers, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Christ University is amazing. It is something every student dreams of. The campus is a very well-maintained environment full of lush greenery and sufficient places to hang out and chill with friends. Inside the campus, there are 2 Indian Coffee Houses and various other food shops. Christ Hostel is a bit strict but has all facilities like Wi-Fi, good food, etc. But most of the students prefer staying outside campus.
Faculty: Faculty members for our course are very efficient. Most of our teachers are Ph.D. scholars who have several years of experience. Since our course is a dynamic course, written exams are less. Most of the subjects are submission-based and are practical in nature as the subjects include photography, strategic storytelling, etc.
Other: Christ University is a treasure house of various cultures and diversities. You can find people from various countries of the world.
