Kurukshetra University Admission & Application Process 2026
Kurukshetra University admission is granted on the basis of the entrance exam and merit list. The admission process includes filling out the application form, online choice filling & locking, release of merit list and fee payment. KUK has a quite simple admission process.
Aspirants have to fulfill eligibility and aggregate requirement i.e. 45%-50% for admission in most of the UG courses. Except BTech and Integrated Teacher Training courses, candidates do not require having any national or state-level entrance exam scores. 1: KUK Application Process 2026
Students have visit the official website of the university (kuk.ac.in) to fill out the form and pay the application fee to complete the process of application. Aspirants need to pay INR 1,200 (INR 300 for SC/ BC/ Differently-abled candidates of Haryana) to apply for a course.
2: Appear for Entrance Test/ Selection Rounds
The university conducts entrance test for BBA (Hons), BA LLB (Hons), BFA, Integrated MBA programmes at UG level. KUK Entrance Test is required for admission in most of the PG courses, including MCA, MBA, MA, etc. The selection is merit-based for UG, few PG, diploma and certificate courses. Shortlisted aspirants also have to pass GDPI round for MBA. Aspirants need to apply for HSTES Counselling with their JEE Main rank for admission in BTech course.
3: Merit List Announcement & Fee Payment
Based on applicants' marks in an entrance exam, Kurukshetra University releases a merit list. The number of merit list depends on the vacant seats. For some of the courses, the merit list is released based on candidates aggregate in the last qualifying examination. Students who get their names on the admission list are then requested to visit the concerned college to report, upload documents and pay the KUK fees to confirm their seats.
Note:
The university has 25 hostels (11 for boys, 1 for foreign male students and 13 for girl students). The accommodation in hostels is provided based on department merit list of admissions and number of seats in hostel allocated to each department. There is a reservation of 20% for SC and 3% for Differently Abled-Blind/ disabled with 70%.

Kurukshetra University Seat Reservation 2026
The seats at KUK are distributed among various categories. 15% fo the sanction intake is for All India Open Category including Haryana. 10% of this intake is for EWS category. Kurukshetra University reserves 85% of the sanctioned intake for Bonafide Residents of Haryana (State Quota).

Kurukshetra University B.Ed Admission 2026
Kurukshetra University Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Special Education is a two-year programme. The course is offered in a full-time mode. Aspirants are shortlisted for this course based on their score in entrance test conducted by the university. BTech & BSc students are placed in top companies at top positions like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Airtel, etc. As per the 2024 placement report, 129 BTech & 2 MTech students were placed during the placement drive. Through the University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), the university gives Engineering programmes to students.
KUK online MBA includes four semesters. The subject line is different for each semester. Some of the subjects to be studied during the course are mentioned below:

The MCC conducts the centralised NEET UG Counselling round-wise. Every year, the MCC releases the round-wise Seat Allotment results for Round 1, 2, Mop-Up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. Only candidates with a NEET UG scores are allowed to be a part of NEET UG Counselling. Candidates clearing the NEET cutoff are allotted a seat in the medical or dental colleges. The courses offered through NEET UG scores are MBBS- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery across the medical and dental colleges.
