TNOU Fees 2025

Tamil Nadu Open University fees include multiple components, such as the tuition fee, hostel fee, etc. Caution fee is one-time payable at the time of admission. Furthermore, a 100% fee concession is given to jail inmates, transgenders, and destitute windows students. But the convocation fee has to be paid. Steps for TNOU Admission Process 2025

Tamil Nadu Open University admission cycle begins in January. Candidates are required to first fill out the application form for the preferred course. The selection to most of the courses is merit-based. Below is the step-wise TNOU admission process:

STEP 1: TNOU Application Process 2025

Candidates are required to fill out the application form online for most of the courses. For B.Ed, aspirants can download the form and submit it along with a DD. Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 500 for B.Ed.

STEP 2: Selection

Tamil Nadu Open University selects candidates for most of the course based on their merit in the last qualifying exam. For B.Ed Spl.Ed., MPhil and PhD courses, candidates have to appear for an entrance exam conducted by the university. TNOU releases a rank list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates.

STEP 3: Admission Counselling

Selected candidates need to participate in the admission counselling. During the counselling, candidates are allotted learner support centres. While coming for admission counselling, aspirants are required to bring admission fee in the form of DD. Candidates also need to bring their documents for verification.
