Placements: No students got placement here. No recruitment is done here. BCA, BBA, and B.Com are the top courses offered here. Students studied here got through off-campus jobs. There are no on-campus jobs available here. As per the internship, no one got it through college.

Infrastructure: The college has only one building, which is good. As per the classroom, they are good; there is no problem with that. The lab is also good. There is no Wi-Fi provided. There is no hostel at the college. The canteen is good and provides good food. As per sports, there are no fields.

Faculty: Faculty here are good. The teaching is very good; students understand easily, and the number of passing students is high. The curriculum does not make students industry ready; they study for the sake of exams and passing the exam. Pass percentage is about 95 to 100 percent.

SRNMN College of Applied Science, Shivamogga affiliated to Kuvempu University.

Placements: Placements are great and many popular companies participate in choosing the passed-out candidates. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, HP, Mahindra, and many more have got placement from this college. It’s a great choice of college; there are no worries about placement.

Infrastructure: Currently, they have only a girls' hostel. Labs are great, library facilities are available, and classrooms have a great environment for studies. The campus and canteen are nice, and sports facilities are also available. The celebration of the annual day is also great, with many functions that take place showcasing different cultures, etc.

Faculty: The teachers are very kind and helpful; they will clear any doubt you have anytime. They are well-trained and qualified, with good experience in teaching. The semester exams will be at a medium level, and the college prepares students well for exams.

Other: I chose this career because I was interested in learning about computer science so much. I needed to go for engineering, but because of income status, I couldn't. But I am happy with this career as well.

I strictly do not recommend this college for students who are looking for a good college in Shimoga.

Placements: Not even 1% of students are placed in our course and their is no campus selection at this college. And there are no internship programs available at this college. And the students who studied in our batch, including the other batch, had no talent for programming languages. We used to understand subjects better through YouTube.

Infrastructure: There are average facilities and infrastructure available. And there is no poor Wi-Fi or lab. Only around 20 computers are there for students (more than 400 students are there). When it comes to hostels and food facilities, hostel facilities are average, and maintenance is not up to par. The food is also average in the hostel. Less interest is shown in sports and games.

Faculty: Only 30% of the teaching staff in the computer science department are helpful. Others are not even interested in teaching regularly. No, the students are not even ready for industry. The pass percentage is approximately 70% and the semester exams are moderately difficult.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in technological courses and programming. There are many more things that can be done to improve the courses at this college. Only 2-3 events per year, surroundings are good, Adhyaya fest is performed, and campus crowd is huge.

Best faculty and management.

Placements: 90% of students are placed in my course and teaching quality was good with the best faculty members in my course. I am from a commerce background even they made BCA easy for me. I became disciplined after coming to this college. And even our vice principal is also nice to every student. She listens to everyone's problems.

Infrastructure: If you have any doubts you can ask the lecturers they will help you understand the course easily. Even they help you know about extra things beyond books. The canteen food is good at a reasonable price and even the facilities provided by the college are the Best.

Faculty: The teachers are the best and most knowledgeable. We had workshops, IT Fest, and Management Fest. Which lets us know about extra things. Actually, for me exams are very easy because of the lecturers. They made me understand every topic easily. I even scored an 8.88 CGPA in my 1st semester exam.

Review of L.B. and S.B.S. Arts Science and Commerce Autonomous College.

Placements: There are no on-campus interviews. About 30% of students got internships from this course.

Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and the library were well and good. This college has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. They also have a hostel facility and a college canteen.

Faculty: Teaching is not good because of guest lecturers. There are no permanent lecturers available for students, especially for the BCA course. Semester exams are good. There are no issues with it.

Other: I have an interest in software development and ethical hacking fields, so I chose this course for my further study purposes. They have to improve their lecturing skills and provide good lectures for students. Because of COVID 19, the events I witnessed at this college were very small, but I thought they were very impressive. They offer all government-provided scholarships. Overall, this college is good. It received a B+ grade from the NAAC in 2022.
