Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) - Batch of 2027

Good practical exposure in BMLT with hospital training, but limited placements.
Placements: In my BMLT course at LNCT University Bhopal, campus placements are quite limited. The college mainly provides internships and training at its own hospital and some private diagnostic labs in Bhopal. Around 20–30% of students get placed through college references, while most students have to apply independently to hospitals and diagnostic labs after completing their degree. The average salary is around 2–3 LPA. Common roles include Lab Technician, Medical Lab Technologist, and Lab Assistant, with opportunities at Lal PathLabs and SRL, as well as local hospitals.
Infrastructure: The BMLT department has decent infrastructure, with separate laboratories for microbiology, pathology, and biochemistry, along with microscopes and other equipment required for practical training. Classrooms are clean. Wi-Fi is not available. The library has a good collection of medical books and journals. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, with decent rooms and average mess food, while the canteen is better. Sports grounds and medical facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Teachers in the BMLT department are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most have good experience in the medical laboratory field. The teaching quality is good. Faculty explain both theoretical and practical concepts clearly. They help students with their doubts. The curriculum is relevant. It provides good practical exposure, helping students develop industry-related skills. Exams are conducted annually and are not very difficult if students attend classes and practical sessions regularly. The pass percentage is high. Around 85–90% of students pass.
Other: I chose BMLT because I am interested in the medical laboratory and diagnostic field. The best thing about this course is that we get more practical knowledge than theory, and we have our own hospital on the college campus for training, which is very helpful for practical learning. The campus crowd is good, with students from different courses, and seniors are generally helpful. Events and fests are also conducted occasionally. Since our college is also a medical college, the hospital exposure is very good.

The college is the best. I recommend you take admission because of faculty and placements.
Placements: 50 to 60 percent of students got placed in the year 2025-26. Highest package is 47 LPA. The lowest package is 8 LPA. The average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Sonalika & WPAM, etc. Top roles are Software Developer, Data Analyst, AI Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are very good facilities available in our college like Wi-Fi in all areas, smart classrooms, a digital library, a hygienic canteen, open grounds for all types of games, well-equipped labs for separate disciplines, and advanced labs like KLIC, Idea Lab, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and well-qualified. They are knowledgeable persons. They help every student with the doubts and always cooperate with them to make each and every topic understandable. The course curriculum is advanced, which makes students placement-ready. If we talk about semester exams, it is easy to pass if you attend classes regularly. The passing percentage is very low, at 33 percent.
Other: I chose this course because it was my aim to become a software engineer. From the 2nd year of college, students ae allowed to attend events. The campus surroundings are also very good for connecting with seniors and talking to them, taking suggestions and they offer NCC & NSS for first and second-year students. Also provides scholarships for Madhya Pradesh students and a central scholarship for outside students.

Good college for seeing other colleges. The friends and peers you meet in college are good.
Placements: It's complicated to understand that placements depend on your hard work and how much potential you have, and you can get a placement with the help of teachers and faculty. Finding the right job or internship can be tough, but whether you need a local agency or are prepping for college campus drives, there are great ways to land a job. If you are in or near where you live.
Infrastructure: It is good to help improve your theoretical knowledge and how things work. Smaller tests are held during the semester to check your ongoing understanding. Grades are based on class participation, homework, and group presentations. Comprehensive tests or major projects at the very end of the course.
Faculty: Faculty is good to help improve your theoretical knowledge and how things work. Smaller tests are held during the semester to check your ongoing understanding. Grades are based on class participation, homework, and group presentations. Comprehensive tests or major projects at the very end of the course. All faculty are good and have a helping nature. College is much more than just attending lectures and passing exams. It is a vital period for personal development, building your network, and preparing for your future career.

A very good college for placements.
Placements: Approximately 50% of students get placed. The highest package is 47 LPA, the lowest is 3.21 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, PwC, Amazon, EPAM, Accenture, and Capgemini. The top roles include Software Developer, Data Analyst, AI Developer, and Salesforce Developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. Labs have proper Wi-Fi and systems. The classrooms are good, and a library is available for students. The hostel is also very good, with spacious rooms, good mess food, and hot and cold water supply. Medical facilities are a little limited, but sports are very popular there.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and give us good guidance about our future. The course is very useful for real-life projects and helps students prepare for jobs. The exams are of a moderate level, and if we study well, we can pass them easily. The minimum passing criteria is 33%.

It's an average college.
Placements: I am pursuing my Bachelor of Physiotherapy from LNCT University, Bhopal. I am from the 2021–2025 batch. There were no placements for my course yet. As it is a medical degree and university has a dedicated teaching hospital, my internship is at their hospital only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not good. Classrooms are congested. There is no Wi-Fi. There is no dedicated library for the course. Labs are good. The washrooms are old, broken, and not clean. However, the hostel facility is comparatively good, with Wi-Fi and all the basic facilities. They have a good canteen area with two canteens. One for the college and one for the hospital, as the hospital is on the same campus as the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good, experienced, and knowledgeable. They are highly qualified, and some are Ph.D. holders and researchers as well. However, there is a lack of practical exposure. It does not make you fully industry-ready. But as per academics, it is really good. The exams are moderately tough, and around 70% of the students pass.
Other: I chose this course in college according to the reviews available online. A lot of things can be improved, such as the infrastructure, student facilities, and campus. They organize a yearly fest for seven days and a sports month as well, which is really good. If you are interested in sports, they organize many events.

College is good, you can consider it as an option.
Placements: Till May 2026, only 45-50 percent of the batch is placed. The average package is of 4 LPA-6 LPA and the highest package is of 20 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, EXL, Capgemini, LTIMindtree, Epam, Quantiphi, Alligeon, etc. College doesn't provide internship, you yourself will have to work for it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. I was living in the campus hostel for 4 years. The environment was so good that there was greenery all around. Wi-Fi connection is available but it's not working throughout. Classrooms are maintained and libraries are also available for studying till 8:00 PM only. In the hostel, four meals are available in the mess. Medical facilities are quite poor.
Faculty: Talking about the teaching quality it is average. The course curriculum is not at all relevant because they do not teach you anything that is required in the industry. Just theory-based learning is given, no practical learning or an industry-based approach is given. The passing percentage in college is 33 percent and the semester exams are quite easy to pass.
Other: Events and fests are conducted on the campus only.
