Review of Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Gwalior.

Placements: Our college was not a great place for placements. Few companies visited our college for recruitment. Top recruiting companies were Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. I was a day scholar, so I did not know about hostel facilities. A new building was under construction for law students. Our campus had 3 buildings.

Faculty: Faculty members were well-experienced and helpful. They were very professional at teaching. Few teachers were average. They were very interactive with students. There was no coding culture among students.

Other: Many events, such as quizzes, were conducted.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The top role offered is a salesman. I am not satisfie with this college.

Infrastructure: The food served in the mess is good. Sports and games are conducted. Wi-Fi is enabled. Laboratory is better. There is a decent library and several books are available.

Faculty: Faculty members are average. Only 6-7 faculty members are available in this college. Semester exams are not conducted well. They do not provide exam dates to students.

My POV for Prestige Institute of Management and Research .

Placements: I'm from the BCA batch of 2024 at Prestige College. Talking about placements, our batch had a pretty good record. Around 80-85% of students got placed through campus drives. The highest package offered to a BCA student in our batch was around 10 LPA, while the lowest was around 3 LPA. The average package hovered near 5-6 LPA, which I feel is decent for freshers. Some of the top recruiters for BCA included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Teach Mahindra. As for internships, about 65-70% of students landed internships through the college in companies like Infosys, Wipro, and Deloitte.

Infrastructure: When it comes to infrastructure for the BCA course at Prestige College, it's pretty solid. The classrooms are spacious and well-lit, with projectors and smart boards for interactive learning. The computer labs are equipped with the latest systems, high-speed internet, and all the necessary software for coding and project work. The college also has a digital library with access to e-books, journals, and coding resources, which really helped during our projects.

Faculty: The faculty for BCA at Prestige College is quite supportive and knowledgeable. Most professors have industry experience and a strong academic background, so they explain concepts clearly with real-world examples. There are also guest lectures by industry experts and alumni who guide us about career paths and higher studies. The student clubs for coding, arts, sports, and cultural events keep campus life lively. Overall, it is the best college in Gwalior for BCA.

Placements: Students are eligible for placements after the fourth semester. There are lots of companies that visit for placements every year, like Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. They provide placement for all students and give a salary package of around 2.10 LPA to 4.80 LPA. After getting this degree, you can also go for an MCA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There are five labs and one huge library. The campus is very small, so some sports like badminton, volleyball, etc., are available. I am a day scholar. The hostel is situated approximately 500m from the college campus.

Faculty: This is the basic course to get entry into this industry or if you want to gain more knowledge about computers and related things. The student-to-faculty ratio is around 45:1. All faculty members have a master's or doctorate in their subject. This course consists of 6 semesters, and each semester has 2 or 3 midterm exams.

Placements: The college is good, and placements are good for BCA. Top MNC companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Mindtree, and Deloitte visit the college for placements. In our batch, about 80% of students got selected. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2.7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good. Wi-Fi is available, and the condition of the labs is good. It has new PCs where we can use them and perform our tasks. The quality of the food served is decent. Sports and games are there where we can play basketball, etc. The canteen quality is good.

Faculty: Our college has a quality of faculty members. Their teaching style is good and supportive. The level of the semester exams is good. I suggest you do not take stress for exams and you should concentrate on what the faculty members taught you. The pass percentage is 35%.

It is the best college, with very great infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 20% of students got very good placements from every batch. The highest package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and Tech Mahindra. Around 5-10% of students got internships. Software developer roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Labs have the latest technologies and high-speed Wi-Fi connections. The classrooms are well-ventilated and have proper teaching aids. Sufficient books are available in the library. Hostels provide free Wi-Fi for students, and very good food is available. Medical facilities are good.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and have Wipro certifications. As it's an autonomous institute, the syllabus offered is only as per the industry requirements and makes students industry-ready. Exams are in two parts, internal assessments of 20 marks and final examinations of 80 marks. We also have practical exams of some subjects for 50 marks.

Other: It is better than 4-years of B.Tech, that's the best thing about this course. The course is perfect. Lots of events are conducted almost every month, and the biggest event/fest called Spandan and the annual fest called Prestige are organised. Students get scholarships as per their performance.
