No, Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) is not approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). AICTE is a regulatory body for technical education in India and it approves technical institutions, colleges, and universities that offer courses in Engineering, Technology, Management, Architecture, and other technical fields. LNMU is a state university located in Darbhanga, Bihar and it offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Law, and Education. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a 'B' Grade. However, it offers AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, and Government of Bihar approved MBA course to students.
At the undergraduate level, LNMU offers a four-year BTech and various other courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the LNMU provides a two-year MA, 18-month to two-year MBA and various other courses to students.
