For admission to the BSc course candidates are required to qualify their Class 12 with at least an aggregate of 45%. Additionally, the university offers admission based on merit and accepts MET (Manipal Entrance Test)  scores for admission. 

Yes, it is mandatory for all first year BA students to reside in the campus hostels of MAHE. Those desirous of staying outside under own arrangements must submit a consent letter from their parents duly recommended by their HOI and forward it to Director, Student Affairs for necessary permission.
