April 4, 2025: Medhavi Skills University (MSU) had the privilege of being represented in the 11th MSME Excellence Awards and Conference organized by ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India). MSU’s Founder and Chancellor, Mr. Pravesh Dudani, an advisor for NSDC, was invited as a distinguished speaker.
He spoke on "Enhancing MSME-Academia Collaboration for Skill Development & Building Competitiveness," while addressing some key workforce challenges and skill gaps in existence today, along with educational reforms initiated by the government recently. He pointed out that skills universities and apprenticeship programs can empower MSMEs to build an industry-ready workforce and improved productivity.
The event would be attended, to name a few, by the representatives and eminent dignitaries including Smt. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary - SME, MSME, Government of India, Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia - Chairperson and Mr. Sudhir Panikassery - Co-Chairperson of ASSOCHAM National Council on Business Facilitation & Global Competitiveness.
It brought together thought leaders from throughout the industry to address some of the most penetrating issues relating to global branding, capacity building, and financial literacy.
MSU Hosts IPS Shri Robin Hibu for Insights on Industry-Integrated Education
March 3, 2025: Medhavi Skills University (MSU) had the opportunity of hosting Shri Robin Hibu, IPS, Inspector General of Police. During his short visit, Shri Hibu explored MSU's skill development facilities and the need for integration of education with industry.
Shri Hibu had been welcomed by Shri Kuldip Sarma, Co-Founder and Pro-Chancellor of MSU, along with the respected faculty members in support of strong skill-based higher education that combines inputs from industry.
Shri Hibu continued to be active in discussions with students, visiting the state-of-the-art laboratories and discussing possible areas of collaboration with the MSU leadership. In his keynote address, he commended MSU for its efforts towards skill development in view of realizing a brighter future for India. As the founder of Helping Hands, he shared some valuable initiatives aimed at uplifting the youth of the Northeast. MSU and Government of Assam Sign Two MOUs to Boost The Employability of Youth
March 3, 2025: Medhavi Skills University (MSU) and the Government of Assam, India, have signed two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to enhance the employability of youth in Assam. With such a partnership, MSU would create a Skill Hub for International Employment in Assam and a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Semiconductor Technology. The Skill Hub would bestow international skillsets and jobs to local youth, while CoE would invigorate the status of the state as an innovational spearhead.

March 31, 2025: Medhavi Skills University (MSU) celebrated a historic milestone with its first convocation ceremony at Chintan Bhavan, Gangtok, honoring the achievements of its foundation batch. The event was graced by Shri Raju Basnet, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Sikkim, as the Chief Guest, and Prof. Mahendra P Lama, Senior Professor (JNU) & Emeritus Chief Economic Adviser, Government of Sikkim, as the Guest of Honour. Several other esteemed dignitaries were also present to mark the occasion. February 17, 2025: Medhavi Skills University, commonly known as MSU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Higher Education, Government of Tripura, to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Artificial Intelligence, a CoE in Oil & Gas, and a Skills University in Tripura. This significant agreement was formalized in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, the Honorable Chief Minister of Tripura, along with the Industry Minister, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Industries), DGP, Principal Secretary (Forest), and other senior government officials at the Destination Tripura Business Conclave 2025. Medhavi Skills University Signed a MoU with the International Automobile Centre of Excellence
May 23, 2024: Medhavi University is pleased to announce that on May 16, 2024, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Automobile Centre of Excellence (iACE) to strengthen the international mobility of students in the automotive sector. The cooperation will alter the skill-building process in the automobile industry, giving aspirational automotive workers access to global opportunities. To that aim, an Overseas Mobility Skilling Hub will be established to provide training and placement services to applicants in countries such as Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
EV sales in India are expected to reach 27 million per year by 2032, with a 35% compound annual growth rate (CAGR). These estimates reflect the dynamic developments that are altering the automobile industry. The goal is to develop a qualified workforce to satisfy the increasing needs of the global automotive sector.

Placements: More than 60% of students were placed in our course. The highest is 3 LPA the lowest is 1.5 LPA and the average is 2 LPA. There are many companies where students get internships More than 60%. They provide 100% internship to the students and they are a trusted university among all.
Placements: Recently, BBA and MBA seniors got their placements in good companies in Bangalore. The lowest is 20,000, and the highest is 40,000. Top recruiting companies include Apollo, Aditya Birla Group, etc. Currently, I’m just a newbie student, and 10-15 students got their internships. Top roles such as music as a career and, as a non-science student, you could be able to role in the medical background by doing a diploma or ECCT in the science background.
Placements: Approximately 250 students were placed in our course this year, including me. The highest package was 62,000, but with the scholarship benefits, its only 49,000 per semester of 6 months, or 98,000 per year. The companies that recruit for the courses available are the Ferns, multi-specialty hospitals, Reliance, etc. Recently all of our seniors went for their internships from various courses, like in the Mayfair hotel and resort, the STNM hospital here in Sikkim, etc. The roles offered in our cour...
Placements: I am a student at BRIT. We have a total of 80 students in our course. I have no idea about the placement percentage, but some got the highest packages, ranging from 30 lacs to 5 lacs per annum. Manipal Hospital, Fortis Healthcare, and diagnostic centers recruit from our college. BRIT students have not completed their 6th semester, so I don't have the actual placement details. Top roles include radiologist and radiology technician.
Placements: The student need to obtain 70% to be eligible for placements. Many companies and hospitals came to our college for placement like hotel Hyatt and central research hospital. The highest package offered was 3.4 lakhs per annum by hotel Hyatt for hotel management course.
Placements: Almost 30%of students got placed in our course. The salary offered ranges between Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Private CT scan, MRI, and Ultrasound scanning centers. Our college doesn't provide internship opportunities for our course. Top roles offered are skills development, communication building, hotel management, hospitality, etc.
