Good academics, great facilities, decent labs, and more opportunities to excel in the field.

Placements: Placement rate is around 70–80%. The highest package is about 4–5 LPA, and the lowest package is about 2.5–3 LPA. Top recruiters are Apollo Hospitals and Fortis Healthcare. Internship is provided at MGM Hospital itself. These are good options for someone who needs better opportunities.

Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, classrooms with AC, and the advantage of a library. Hostel facilities at my college are average. I do not have a proper idea about them. As I have heard, they provide good food and games on the hostel campus.

Faculty: The communication of teachers is extremely excellent and polite. They advise and help students in need, and mentors are given individually. Semester exams are quite difficult and strict. The passing percentage is around 80–90%. The course curriculum is relevant, and they make us industry-ready.

Other: I have had lots of internships in medical lab-related things, for which I chose this course. Events and fests are organized yearly. It is good and overall nice.

I am truly satisfied with the faculty members and facilities provided by the college.

Placements: As we are in a paramedical course, internships have been included in our curriculum for the duration of 1 year. After completing the course, we can work in reputed laboratories. We can also work in MGM hospital as it consists of respective laboratories for each department.

Infrastructure: The college consists of well-equipped labs of respective departments of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Pathology. There is more practical work involved, which gives students hands-on experience of everything. The library has a vast collection of books and journals of each author and also includes story books. There is a separate section for each subject that includes all the books that are required within the curriculum and out of syllabus books are also included to deepen our understanding and concepts.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and will help students to widen their knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant and it includes everything to make students the best in their field. Semester exams comprise MCQs, long and short-answer questions. It is based on the CBCS pattern and the pass percentage is 50% in each subject.

Other: The college is the best in terms of extracurricular activities and events. Students get to participate in NSS activities, national conferences, cleanliness drives, and plantation drives. Students will not only perform best in the curriculum or studies but will also be the best as an individual. There is a subject called Poise that is included in the syllabus, which will introduce students to spirituality. The college provides government scholarships to women and backward-class students.

It has comprehensive learning and practical exposure.

Placements: 30% of students got placed here. The starting salary offered to freshers ranges from Rs. 20,000-30,000 per month. Roles like lab technician, blood bank, and technician are offered here. Students get placed in Microbiologist and Histopathology labs. There is a huge demand for lab technicians abroad with a starting salary of 1 lakh per month. It provides great opportunities in government hospitals and laboratories.

Infrastructure: MGM Institute of Health Sciences offers excellent facilities to support students' academics and practical learning. It has well-equipped laboratories, libraries, and AC classrooms with projectors. It also has more than 4 canteens on campus, which provide good healthy food in a clean environment.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful with lectures and exam preparation. Exams go smoothly as the exam syllabus is thoroughly covered by professors. PPTs are shared by teachers. 1-2 weeks of preparation leaves are given to students before semester exams. There are a total of 8-semester exams.

Other: I chose B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology because of my strong interest in laboratory science which plays a crucial role in health care. MGM SBS is my choice because of its well-structured curriculum, hands-on hospital posting, and experienced faculty members.

MGM is a good collegeu2026u2026.

Placements: There were 80% eligible good students who were placed in renowned institutions for their career endeavors. Also, MGM itself is a renowned institute where students get a chance to work and gain experience. In MGM, there is a compulsory 1-year internship program for students to learn and assist, working hands-on directly with the patients, with utmost care and supervision.

Infrastructure: MGM institution includes all the top facilities, which bring ease to the students. The library contains all the necessary reading material a student will need, and proper management is provided. The classrooms are well-equipped. There are many canteens available with various types of food for students to relax. The food quality is really good. MGM Olympic sports are also a good opportunity for students to participate in, and there are other activities held too.

Faculty: The course curriculum is absolutely relevant, and the institution is well-known for making students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, as they involve a big procedure, from passing 75% attendance to giving the exams in a different exam room, where proper management of the exam is done.
