Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2026
4.0
Review of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology.
Placements: The college provides good placement opportunities. The syllabus itself prepares students for interviews, so they can easily get jobs through campus placements or internships. The stipend offered during internships is also good. Students from the CS and IT branches have excellent placement opportunities with mass recruiters like Amazon, Deloitte, ZS, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. Most students from these branches get placed. The average package is around 4 LPA. The highest package is around 17 LPA, depending on student's skills, experience, and performance. Companies conduct interview rounds and practical tests, and students need to qualify in all stages to secure placements.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good, with separate hostels for boys and girls. Facilities are well maintained. Mess provides hygienic and good quality food.
Faculty: Faculty includes young and experienced teachers. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and experienced in their respective subjects. It makes learning easier for the students. The college conducts one internal exam and one semester exam in each semester. Since it is an autonomous college, the question papers are prepared by the college itself. Attendance is compulsory for appearing in exams. Students with attendance below 75% are considered to have a semester backlog. Students have to pass both the internal and semester exams separately. The course curriculum is good and updated. Every year, the college updates the curriculum to enhance students' skills because the IT industry changes continuously. Therefore, the curriculum for Software Engineering students is also updated regularly. The exam structure is good, with mid-term theory and practical exams, followed by end-semester theory and practical exams. Nearly 70% of the students get internships in different companies.

My experience in this college.
Placements: Placement was good. There was a separate placement cell in the College that offered placement offers students had to register their names. Many reputed companies used to visit our college like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, FICO, Impetus, VMware, and many more. The average package offered was around 4.5 LPA. The highest package offered was up to 14 LPA. 70% placement is offered to students. There was also a proper guidance programme from the mentors related to a specific field and also students had to score at least 7.5 CGPA to sit in the placement.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility was available and there was a separate hostel for boys and girls. The hostel charges were reasonable so everyone can afford it. There was a 24-hour water supply. The mess food was hygienic. Vegetarian food was offered in the mess. There are separate charges for mess food.
Faculty: Faculty were very good. Many PhD faculty members taught us. They have a lot of experience and have unique personalities and good behaviour with students. They always helped us to fulfil our goals. Their experience was worth their work. They guided us at any step when we wanted and were very knowledgeable and helpful. The semester examination system followed where every year consists of 2 semester exams of 70 marks and 2 mid-semester exams were held between every semester and one practical exam also held along with viva from external examiner which was of 20 marks. The course curriculum was well. As my course was majorly technical with good lab facilities and updated technical equipment and software, regular classes and lab classes helped me to develop my skill set. Also, frequent visits, such as an industrial visit for software development, helped me gain on-the-field knowledge.

Good MCA course and appropriate for jobs.
Placements: The placements are great. Nearly 80 percent of our students got placed. There are many top recruiting companies such as Dell Tech, HCL Tech, etc. Visiting every year. Top positions offered in this course are like software development, programming development, etc. The highest post in this field offers around 20 LPA, the lowest is around 6 LPA, and the average is approximately 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure overall is very good. There are many services like Wi-Fi, Medical needs, good food in the canteen, and so on. The classrooms are neat and clean. The computer labs are also well-maintained. The annual sports function happens every year too.
Faculty: The teachers are very good mentors. They teach us with care and proper knowledge. They teach us according to the course curriculum and make us job-ready. The semester exams happen every 6 months approximately and they are of an easy to moderate level. The minimum pass percentage is 85 percent.

Overall, very nice and beautiful.
Placements: During my study, around 79% of students were employed by their family firms. The highest package offered is 22 LPA, and the lowest is 7 LPA. Business, Technology, and NVIDIA were among the early adopters. The top occupations reported in this study were software engineer, software developer, and related occupations. About 79% of students get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: We have a well-equipped learning centre with computers with state-of-the-art tools like VS Code, Python, Mobile App Development, Machine Learning, Arduino, Web Development, and more. All classrooms have Wi-Fi available. We have sports facilities in the hostel complex, and the dining area is clean and serves good food in the lobby. Our library is full of books, and we have a digital library facility in our department. All of our classes have pictures.
Faculty: Our teachers encourage and support us. Some are really good, but only a few. The curriculum is also approved. First of all, we don't have to worry about the curriculum. He had plenty of time for other things. The exam is not too difficult, just focus on studying. The pass rate is 81%.

Review of Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology.
Placements: The college says that they have great placement records, but the placements are not as great as they mentioned. The highest package provided to MCA candidates was 8.85 CTC, which was received by two candidates from our batch through a company named Deloitte.
Infrastructure: The college offers 15 degree programs and 20+ courses. They provide 50% of seats through the management quota and the rest through counselling. In the counselling process, seats are allotted based on entrance exam scores. Classrooms are highly facilitated with the best facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members are realistic and helpful with the students. They support and show care based on the behavior patterns of the students. Faculty members help us build projects from scratch. They discuss only relevant subject topics and provide updates related to the subjects.

This college is the best.
Placements: 85 percent of our students are placed in the top departments. Among the best employers are Dell Technologies, Hewlett-Packard, and HCL Technologies. 20 LPA is the highest compensation. The average salary is 6 LPA, with a minimum of 3.5 LPA. Students must look for off-campus jobs in order to obtain internships but colleges supply all the information they need. Computer programs and software development are among the most popular positions that recruiters offer at universities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The amenities offered are quite wonderful if we stay at the college dorms. There are conveniences like hot water and Wi-Fi. The rooms are excellent. Students enrolled in the same subject are housed in the same room. Every month, the dormitory warden and parents have a conversation.
Faculty: Teachers from the most seasoned IITs and NITs are highly qualified. They teach students for a variety of projects, seminars, and workshops by sharing their expertise with them. Students routinely attend classes, and semester examinations are not especially difficult. It is difficult to know how to pass if they don't show up. Our college requires a clear pass in every subject, and the cutoff number is 85 percent.
