MUHS Course Admission 2025: Eligibility, Dates, Eligibility & Application Process

Yes, MUHS offers a UG degree of BAMS. Students can complete this course between the duration of four years to five years & five months. This course is offered through more than 20 affiliated colleges of MUHS Nashik.

Candiates can take admission to the MUHS MD ( Doctor of Medicine)  course on the basis of the AIAPGET exam by registering for the entrance exam. However, before applying for th exam candidates must make sure to check the MD eligiblity criteria, which is as follows:

All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test, commonly known as AIAPGET, is conducted for admissions to the postgraduate courses in Ayurveda,  Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy.  It is conducted annually in a computer-based mode. Candidates who qualify for the examination scoring the minimum cut off percentile can opt for MPH courses. Admission is given on the basis of merit. Those who qualify AIAPGET 2024 will be asked for counselling round which is conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC). Candidates must fill the AIAPGET application form online by visiting the official website.

MUHS Nashik admission to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) is on the merit basis obtained in the NEET conducted by NTA. The merit list is based on the results of NEET. If you belong to the SC/ST/OBC category, then you have to score a 40 percentile in the NEET exam. If you belong to the UR category, then you have to score 50 percentile in the NEET exam. The college cutoff has not yet been declared. For more information, you can visit the college or participate in counseling. After participating in counseling, just wait for one or two weeks for the college cut-off. It will be declared soon.

The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) has 403 affiliated colleges that offer Dental, Ayurveda, and Medical specialisations. The university offers courses for all levels of study, including undergraduate, postgraduate, doctorate, post-graduate Diploma, undergraduate Diploma fellowship, Certificate and super speciality. The flagship courses of MUHS Nashik are B.Sc. And B.A. MS B.Sc. Course is offered across three specialisations and further into various disciplines through the Department of Medical and Nursing. The NEET UG entrance exam is used at MUHS for admission to the B.Sc. (Nursing) programme; however, other B.Sc. Specialisations may have different admissions procedures. B.A. MS course is offered by more than 20 affiliated colleges of MUHS. The MUHS Nashik NEET MDS cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the MDS course specialisations for multiple categories under the All India quota. 

For the General AI category, the last round cutoff rank fell between the ranges of 604 and 37, wherein the top two the hardest courses for admission were MDS in Conservative Dentistry, followed by MDS in Oral Surgery, with the cutoffs of 37 and 80, respectively.

MUHS Nashik cutoff 2023 for the MBBS course is based on NEET scores followed by the round-wise counselling. NEET Counselling is conducted by the MCC. Only candidates with a valid scores are called for the round-wise NEET Counselling. Further the university offers MBBS course through various affiliated colleges. Shri Gajanan Maharaj Sansthan Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Yavatmal (SGMSAM Yavatmal) is one of the reputed private ayurvedic colleges in Maharashtra. It was established in 1992. The Gajanan Maharaj Ayurvedic College is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines. Duration: 5 and 1/2 years (including 1 year of compulsory internship). Eligibility: Students must have passed the 10 + 2 standard with science (PCB) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the same and with English as one of the languages. You must have achieved a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subject (PCB) in the 12th standard examination. Admission process: Students are admitted to the BAMS course on the merit basis obtained in the NEET conducted by NTA. Candidates shall apply/enroll on the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee website. The college cut-off is decided by the selection board. The merit list is based on the results of NEET. The major exam that is considered for Maharashtra University of Health Sciences MUHS admissions is the NEET exam. Nation-wide Medical admissions are conducted via the NEET exam. The Maharashtra University of Health Sciences is located in the serene suburbs of Nashik city. The campus is conveniently connected to the major nodes of transportation in the city. It would take arriving students about a 30-minute drive to reach the MUHS campus location. Students choosing the railroad route can take a 50-minute drive from the Devlali Railway Station in Nashik.

The Maharashtra University of Health Science (MUHS) offers BSc programme via its affiliated colleges. The overall seat intake of BSc is around 3716. The number mentioned is the total number of seats offered across the affiliated colleges. BSc is offered across multiple specialisations such as Optometry,  Paramedical Technology,  Nursing, etc. Admission is merit-based and entrance-based. The university accepts NEET UG exam for admission to the BSc programme.

BSc admission at MUHS Nashik is based on NEET exam. Candidates are required to participate in the NEET counselling 2024 for BSc seat at MUHS. NEET 2024 counselling is expected to begin in the fourth week of July 2024. Candidates who will qualify for the exam by securing the NEET 2024 cutoff marks will be eligible to participate in the NEET 2024 counselling process. NEET counselling process will be conducted in two categories, for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and 85 per cent State Quota (SQ) seats. 

Maharashtra University of Health Sciences accepts the AYUSH entrance examination cutoff ranks for admission to the BAMS course. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing ranks for all rounds. 

The MUHS BAMS Cutoff 2025 was published for admission to the BAMS course for all the categories under the All India quota. For the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff was between 75293 and 75982.

The NTA NEET registration procedure is completely online. The steps of NEET application process are given below:

1. Visit the NEET official website -neet.ntaonline.in

2. Click on the tab indicating Registration

3. Read all the instructions and register with personal details such as name, contact details, password, etc. to generate the application number and password

4. Register for NEET by entering personal and contact detailsSelect password

5. Verify OTP received through SMS and email

6. After the credentials are generated, log in and fill up the application form with personal and educational details, exam medium and exam city preference and documents (photograph, signature, thumb impressions, address proof) upload

7. Pay the application fee in online mode through credit/debit card, net banking, Paytm and UPI

Once the NEET 2024 application form is submitted successfully, NTA will send a confirmation mail and SMS to candidates' registered email address and mobile number. They are advised to save and print the confirmation for future reference. 

As per last year's trends, the general category NEET cut off is 720-138, and for the SC/ST/OBC category, the NEET cut-off is 137-108. Meanwhile, NEET 2023 cutoff percentile for the general category is 50th and for ST/SC/OBC is 40th.

The eligibility criteria for the BSc programme includes twelve years of school education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology with a minimum of 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC; 45% aggregate for PWD category candidates) along with English as one of the subjects

Also minimum age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before December 31 of the year of admission is mandatory. (Request for relaxation from the prescribed age limit will not be considered for any category of applicants. Also, there is no upper age limit.)
