The Gajanan Maharaj Ayurvedic College is affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicines. Duration: 5 and 1/2 years (including 1 year of compulsory internship). Eligibility: Students must have passed the 10 + 2 standard with science (PCB) or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the same and with English as one of the languages. You must have achieved a minimum of 50 percent marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subject (PCB) in the 12th standard examination. Admission process: Students are admitted to the BAMS course on the merit basis obtained in the NEET conducted by NTA. Candidates shall apply/enroll on the AYUSH Admissions Central Counseling Committee website. The college cut-off is decided by the selection board. The merit list is based on the results of NEET. If you belong to the SC/ST/OBC category, then you have to score a 40 percentile in the NEET exam. If you belong to the UR category, then you have to score 50 percentile in the NEET exam.
