Nagaland University is a Central University in the state of Nagaland by an Act of Parliament by the Government of India in 1989. The university has around four campuses which involve Headquarters at Lumami Campus, Kohima Campus, Medziphema Campus and Dimapur Campus. It has 66 affiliated colleges with student population of somewhere around 24,000. It is approved by UGC and provides courses at UG, PG and PhD levels in the fields of Science, Humanities & Social Sciences, Engineering, Business & Management Studies, and Mass Communication & Media.
