Q: What is the age limit to appear for CAT?

There is no age limit to appear for CAT. The CAT exam is open for fresh graduates as well as working professionals. Since CAT is accepted by over 1300 B-schools across India for their full-time as well as executive MBA or online professional courses, a lot of working professionals appear for the CAT to pursue such courses. CAT score is accepted by Iims for full time MBA, executive MBA and FPM programmes.

Other top MBA colleges in India also shortlist candidates for executive MBA or part-time MBA on the basis of CAT score. The minimum age limit for has to be 20 years as the minimum qualification for CAT exam graduation. Any candidate who has completed Graduation with 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for SC/ST candidates).

Review of Nitte, deemed to be university, Bangalore.

Placements: A batch of 60 students are there for the program. Especially for an overseas project or an internship program, the stipend can reach 80,000 per month, while for a Ph.D. and a lab assistant, it can range from 30,000 to 40,000. The recruiting companies are Ependorf, IT companies, and technological companies.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi provided is a bit slow in stream speed. Labs and classrooms are well maintained and the labs are equipped with the latest machinery. The library comes with all the handy national and international academic books. The hostel's food is of high quality and readily available. Hostels are newly constructed, hence their very good condition. The university has its own hospital so medical facilities are easily available. College fests, sports meet and intercollege events are also frequent.

Faculty: Professors are from high-qualifying fields, and their personal accomplices in fields of research and projects are remarkable. Our course curricula are integrated with all essential subjects and are entrance exam-specific too. Semesters are strict yet the internal exams keep the semester preparation smooth; the SGPA to pass is 6.

Other: Nitte has different in-house as well as intercollege events. Starting from Flash Mob, Walkathon, Inter College Fest, Namaste Karnataka—an event that involves all the colleges in Karnataka—house and club events, and the annual sports day of the Nitte College competition too.

Students can join it if they want to join a biotechnology course with best exposure to technologies.

Placements: Placement support is provided by the institute, but not at a high rate. They will be guiding us to find opportunities outside. They will be mentoring us to new job opportunities, existing positions, and sharing information regarding openings in the biotech industry.

Infrastructure: Our college has high-end equipment like flow cytometers, fluorescent microscopes, zebrafish sculpting, etc. The institute comprises bachelor's and master's biotechnology and biomedical departments with interdisciplinary research. It is being equipped with the latest PCRs and HPLC. It also has many branches with unique projects happening.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best with high qualifications and knowledge. They mentor us throughout the academic journey and help us through our career and research phases. They help to build the foundation to be researchers in the future biotechnology world. Semester exams are of standard level. The course curriculum is relevant and research-oriented. It has numerous PhD scholars, and many studies are ongoing. There are the best research articles from research scholars and students.

Other: There are 4 master's and one bachelor's degree courses in the institute. The crowd is low, and hence events. The institute is more academic and research-oriented than. But now it is better with more events and conferences. It has tie-up events with other sibling institutes of NITTE University.
