A place for overall growth - More than academics

Faculty: My experience at JKSHIM was truly enriching. College offers much more than academics. I had the opportunity to attend business conclaves, participate in industry interactions, promo shoots, etc., which helped me grow personally as well as professionally. JKSHIM's supportive faculty played a key role. I am grateful for the experience and guidance received.

A better exposure to the world of finance and investment.

Faculty: The courses are structured really well, especially the finance and investment banking aspects, which are taught really well with hands-on experience and exercise. The Bloomberg lab facility gives access to many of the finance-related data of real companies, which gives better analysis exposure.

Nitte College review – Mediocre, could be better.

Faculty: I would say only a handful of teachers actually teach something worth the students’ time. The teaching is not that great overall, and the majority of studying is done through self-study. Classes are only attended for the sake of attendance. I would also say sometimes there is a lack of professionalism. Overall, not great.

Best for healthy and good infrastructure, and a student society.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified, and students can get more research opportunities. Exams are very strict, and papers are prepared by the university. Pass marks should get 40% in internals and 40% in the semester. No ragging in college premises, teachers take care of your academics.

Highly satisfied with NITTE. It has excellent placements, modern infrastructure, and great faculty.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent because professors are supportive. The course curriculum is relevant and successfully makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite easy to pass. Students only need 40 marks to pass a subject. The exam paper also includes 20 marks of MCQ questions, which makes scoring easier.

About B.Sc. Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology.

Faculty: For B.Sc. Anaesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology, the department's subject teachers are qualified but not very helpful. Exams are of a moderate level. The pass percentage is 45% for each subject. However, common subject teachers are well qualified and have good teaching skills.

Review of Justice K S Hegde Institute of Management.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are well-experienced and have a deep knowledge (both in terms of practical and theoretical) of the subject. In terms of teaching, the college has a strong team of professors with good practical and theoretical knowledge and experience in teaching. Course curricula are flexible, and the college offers specialisation in Fintech and AI & Business analytics. Subjects in the specialisation are revised as per the industry standards.

Good college, but attendance is so important, and it should be more than 85 percent.

Faculty: Teachers are so supportive, qualified, and they teach us well. They provide us with assignments and clarify our doubts instantly. From the second year onwards, they give us experience in attending and facing the interviews. So it makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are a bit difficult, and the pass percentage is 85%.

Curriculum must be updated, good placements in 2025, good teaching quality and good campus life.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is above average. Teachers are highly qualified, as most are Ph.D. holders. The curriculum is relevant but outdated and can focus more on modern technologies like AI. Semester exams are easy in the first year but get harder after the second year. The pass percentage is 20% in internals (out of 50) and 20% in SEE (out of 100).

College life in NMAMIT, NITTE.

Faculty: The faculty members are nice. They clear your doubts then and there in the classrooms. The lab assistants are really very helpful, they help us if we have any doubts while performing the experiments. The HOD is also really very helpful, even if we don't get an internship outside, they suggest us through their connections.

Really good research-oriented environment.

Faculty: The faculty of the department of biotechnology is highly helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with most of the lecturers holding a Doctor of Philosophy degree. The curriculum may be just a bit outdated. But the research aspects are very much encouraged in the students from the beginning.

Really good college.

Faculty: Everything is really well curated, and it’s so nicely put together that it’s easy for the students. All the circulars are according to the subject and well maintained. The exams are difficult, but the lecturers teach so good that they make the subject so easy.

Things you should know before joining NMAM Institute of Technology, NITTE University .

Faculty: I would say the curriculum is very old; they need improvement in it. They need to include new things that are more relevant in the industry right now. About the teachers, they're very helpful and knowledgeable, except for a few, and the exams, they're very easy.

The college is very good in academics and provides a high certificate value all over India.

Faculty: Highly qualified faculty members are there with good teaching quality. There will be two sessional exams conducted, and based on those marks, students get eligibility to write the semester exam. Paper's difficulty level is moderate. Students should have at least 40% to pass.

Absolutely good for the masters.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio in my college is decent, ensuring that students get enough attention. Most of the professors are approachable and willing to help if you put in the effort to interact with them. There are two semesters in the first year. In the second year, there are presentations, journal club, research work, etc.
