Your AIR rank of 29417 and All India SC rank of 1600 are quite good and you have a decent chance of getting admission in some of the National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. However, your Madhya Pradesh rank of 99 may not be sufficient for admission in NLUs that have a domicile reservation for Madhya Pradesh. Since the cutoffs for admission to different NLUs vary every year based on various factors like the number of seats available, the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. , it is difficult to predict your chances of getting admission in a particular NLU. However, you can use the previous year's cutoffs and your ranks to get an idea of the NLUs where you may have a chance of getting admission. You can check the previous year's cutoffs of different NLUs on their respective websites or admission portals. Additionally, you can also check the cutoff trends and ranks of candidates who got admitted in previous years for the NLUs you are interested in. It is recommended that you keep an eye on the admission notifications and cutoffs released by the NLUs and keep all the required documents ready for the admission process. Good luck!

No, NLU Delhi accepts admission in UG and PG law degree courses only through AILET exam. CLAT scores are used for admissions to the 23 National Law Universities in India except NLU Delhi, as it is the only university that is not a part of Consortium of National Law Universities. Although before formation of Consortium of NLUs, the university (NLUD) actively participated in conduct of CLAT examination and counselling process, however, when the preference was given to other NLUs over it, then in 2012 it was decided that NLUD will not accept CLAT scores for admissions. Hence, AILET was conducted exclusively for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by NLU Delhi. Admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) is primarily based on the rank obtained in CLAT and the preference of NLUs given by the candidates during the counseling process. While a rank of 8000 in CLAT 2023 is decent, the competition for admission to NLUs is usually high, and it ultimately depends on the number of available seats, the number of applicants, and the preference of candidates. However, having OBC category rank of 1150 can increase your chances of admission as many NLUs reserve seats for OBC candidates. As the exact number of seats reserved for OBC candidates may vary from one NLU to another, it's difficult to predict your chances of admission without knowing the specific details of each NLU. It's important to keep an eye on the official websites of the NLUs for updates regarding the counseling process, seat allotment, and other important information. During the counseling process, you will be required to give your preference for the NLUs, and the final admission will depend on your rank and the availability of seats in your preferred NLU. There is no question as to which one among them is better. In terms of ranking, exposure, faculty, NLS has an edge. Not denying the fact that even NLUD is progressing quite impressively and their infrastructure might be better than NLS (because of it being quite new), it still lags behind on certain parameters to NLS. Apart from having, perhaps the best law library in the country, NLSIU has an unmatched alumni network which would take at least 15 years for NLUD to come even close to it. Considering NLUD was established only in 2008 but has still managed to be one of the best law schools of this country, if given a chance, I would still strongly suggest you to go for NLS Bangalore. Some might suggest you to go for NLUD because of its proximity to your home but I think you would learn, explore and enjoy your college life more only when you move out to a different city, away from your parents and learn everything by yourself.

Considering the variations in last year cutoff and this year score you can expect 70% accurate prediction. So you cant be reliable on the CLAT predictor. the last SC rank that was granted admission to NLU Assam had an All India Rank of 8967. Now if we evaluate your profile on the basis of this answer, I have to be brutally honest in letting you know that your rank is nowhere near the ideal requirements. Anything below 10000 would have still improved your chances but since your rank stands at 25505, I don't think you will be able to make it. Now you have 2 options to make a quick and wise decision, Wait for a second attempt at NLU Assam or Try for vacant seats in other NLUs Look for other Law colleges that offer BA-LLB programs. Considering the closing rank data of the National Law Universities, you can expect to get admission to the following NLUs for their integrated law course (B.A. LL.B): NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad, National Law Institute University of Bhopal, The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law in Patiala, Chanakya National Law University of Patna, National Law University and Judicial Academy in Assam, Dharmashastra National Law University of Jabalpur. All you need to do is keep working hard and not give up. Face the challenges and you will definitely bear good results.

It's difficult to predict whether you can get admission to any National Law University (NLU) based on your CLAT All India Rank (AIR) and OBC category rank. The cutoff ranks for admission to NLUs change every year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats. However, based on the previous year's cutoff ranks, it is unlikely that you will be able to get admission to the top NLUs such as NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, or NUJS Kolkata with your current rank. However, you may still have a chance to get admission to some of the other NLUs based on your rank. I would suggest you check the previous year's cutoff ranks for NLUs and the current year's cutoffs when they are released to get a better idea of your chances of admission. Also, consider applying to other law colleges that accept CLAT scores to increase your chances of getting admission.
