NLUJAA, is ranked 28 by NIRF 2023 ranking amongst other NLUs. The NIRF 2023 was approved by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and launched by the Honourable Minister of Education on June 5 2023. Located in Guwahati, Assam, India, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA or NLUJAA) is a national law university. It was founded in 2009 as a public university specialising in legal education by an Act approved by the Assamese State Legislature (Assam Act XXV of 2009). The 60-acre National Law University and Judicial Academy campus is located in the Amingaon neighbourhood, a municipality outside of Guwahati City. The academic and administrative buildings, as well as the residence halls for boys and girls, are located on campus. Along with the library, it also houses the conference room, dining hall, moot court hall, multipurpose gymnasium, and other facilities.
