Kavayitri Bahinbai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University was awarded with four star grade in the year 2001, a B grade with 2.88 CGPA in the year 2009 and an A Grade with 3.11 CGPA in 3rd Cycle re-accreditation in the year 2015 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. NMU provides hostel facility both for boys and girls. The university has single, double and triple seated rooms are available to accommodate more than 1000 students. Moreover, the hostel facility include Wi-Fi connectivity, water coolers, solar water heaters, computer lab with internet connectivity, study tables and chairs separately for each students etc.

North Maharashtra University offers four-year BTech course spread across eight semesters. BTech is available in five specialisations such as:
