Yes, you can join Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU) based on merit. All students must meet the required percentage as per ttheir last educational qualification previous exams to be considered for admission.

For example, to be eligible for the BEd in Special Education course, candidates must be:

• Have a Master's Degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities
• The candidate should have bachelor's programme with 50% aggregate.

Also eligible for the MBA course, students must be:

• Any graduate or Degree in Law/ Engineering/ Pharmacy/ Architecture
• Have a bachelor's degree from a recognised college or university.

Established in 1997, the Netaji Subhas Open University is a UGC-approved University. The university offers courses in distance mode. It has been accredited by NAAC with an A grade and has also been recognised by DEC and the Gov. of West Bengal. Students who are looking for admission at NSOU need to meet the last educational qualification.  Admission is through Management Entrance Test (NSOU-MET) followed by Personal Interview (PI) of 100marks. The NSOU-ET may be of 100 marks (English-30, Mathematics-30, Aptitude-20 and GK20) based on MCQ. The students may be selected on the basis of the results of NSOU-MET & PI.
