Master of business administration (MBA) is a 2 year post graduation course. The two most important entrance exams to take admission for MBA in any university are CAT and CMAT. CAT exam is specification taken to get admission in IIMs only, where as CMAT exam is taken to get admission in MBA in any private University

The eligibility criteria for MBA includes Bachelor’s or Post-graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognised University or an examination recognised as equivalent. The CAT cut off usually goes up to 90-99% in order to get admission in IIMs. For other universities, CMAT cut off goes as low as 25%>

Final admission depends on the counselling session conducted for the shortlisted candidates.

CAT exam is specifically for taking admission into IIM whereas CMAT exam is considered in any other private or autonomous University. CAT exam is comparatively more difficult than CMAT. The minimum cut off in order to clear CAT exam is 90 to 95 percentile. For CMAT exam also the minimum percentile is 80 to 90 percentile, but for some private universities it can be as low as 25 to 30 percentile.

PDM University offers MBA under four specialisations, namely Marketing Management, Finance, International Business, and Organisational Behaviour & Human Resource. Admission to the MBA programme at PDM University is granted based on the merit of the qualifying exam. Preference will be provided to CMAT-qualified students. However, the university's aim is to develop effective and ethical leaders and entrepreneurs who anticipate, analyse, and manage contemporary as well as emerging business and social issues.

However, as per the university's official website, there are 100 seats reserved for the BPharma programme. Admission to all the courses depends on candidates’ marks in the qualifying examination. For the BTech programme, apart from merit, preference is given to the candidates with a valid score in JEE Main.

Online application form includes personal details, educational qualifications and basic registration fees. Admission to all the courses is merit-based except for MDS, BDS, BTech, MPharm and MBA courses. Students have to give a common entrance test for the above mention courses like JEE Mains, NEET UG CMAT etc. Final admission to all the courses is depends on counselling session for the shortlisted candidates.
