Good campus with great placements.
Placements: I am from the ECE 2021-2025 batch at PES University. About 85% of students got placed, with packages ranging from 4 LPA to 20 LPA. The average salary is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Top recruiters are Qualcomm, Intel, and TI. 80% of students got internships at Bosch, Capgemini, etc., in core and software roles.
Infrastructure: ECE department has well-equipped labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and access to a rich library. Hostels are clean with good Wi-Fi, study areas, and laundry. The mess food is decent, canteen offers variety. Sports, gym, and medical help are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good with a focus on concepts and applications. The curriculum is industry-relevant with regular updates. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Pass percentage is around 90% in ECE.
Other: I am Kiran from the electronics and communication engineering (ECE) branch, batch of 2021-2025 at PES University. I chose this course because of my deep interest in electronics, communication systems, and the rapidly evolving tech industry. PES University is known for its academic excellence, well-designed curriculum, and industry-oriented approach. ECE department offers a strong foundation in both hardware and software, along with ample opportunities for research and innovation. The campus life is vibrant, with events like Aatmatrisha, department fests, and hackathons that keep students engaged beyond academics.

Absolutely satisfied here.
Placements: Every student who has maintained a CGPA of or above 7.75 will get placements. As of the ECE batch of last academic year around 300 students got placements. The average package is 6 LPA - 8 LPA. I don't have any idea about the highest and lowest. Top roles include design engineer, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a top-class infrastructure and facilities in our college. The teaching staff is highly efficient and superb. We have a top-class infrastructure and facilities in our college. Teaching staff is highly efficient and superb. All classrooms are equipped with smart boards and Wi-Fi. Labs are well-maintained. The hostel provides good food, sports facilities, and 24X7 medical care.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and highly qualified as required. Semester exams will be tough but can be scored. Teachers are helpful, friendly, and highly qualified. They explain concepts clearly and support students well. The curriculum is updated and industry-relevant, with practical exposure. Semester exams are a bit challenging but manageable with regular study.
Other: I was personally interested in this course, as it was my dream to do ECE engineering. The college fest is good.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) - Batch of 2025

A good college as per the fee but not the best one in terms of teaching and placements.
Placements: Placements after B.Pharma are very less, and the packages offered are not much. The highest packages after B.Pharma are 3-4 lakhs per annum. The companies which come are also decreasing every year. The job roles are also quite different from the course we studied, and we have to take a separate training for it.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good but not the best. Maintenance is very bad, and during the rains, the water tends to stand on the roads instead of draining. Labs are good, but the chemicals and the lab-required materials are missing. The sports facilities are also average in the college and not up to the mark.
Faculty: Faculty keeps changing, and it is a very big problem in the college. The new teachers take their own time to settle, and it becomes a problem for the students to understand their teaching. Exams are the biggest problem, as they are conducted every 2-3 weeks. Teachers will always be in a hurry to complete the syllabus.

PES University honest review.
Placements: The placement percentage in our course was around 80-90%. The highest package offered in our course was 46 LPA. The median package offered in our course was 8 LPA. The top recruiting companies that visited our college for our course were Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, etc.
Infrastructure: The college provided us with all the required facilities and infrastructure that were essential for our course. The library was available with lots of books in the college. Computer labs were available with the latest software and technology. The quality of the hostel available for us was good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of our faculty members in my course was good. The course curriculum was relevant. Students worked on many high-level projects. The semester examinations in this college were a little tough.

PES: The real reason why to join PES.
Placements: We are not in that stage yet being first years, but I still heard and believe that PES has a different brand when it comes to placement. As of what I heard, the highest package for this year is somewhere around 1.1 crore, and the average package being around 20 LPA. Most of the students, about 80% got placed in Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies, which is a remarkable response. This is also one of the reasons students join PES.
Infrastructure: The campus life, infrastructure, and both indoor and outdoor places are really well-maintained and well-equipped. This is one of the attractions at PES, where we get to see a huge block just for indoor sports and other co-scholastic activities. Here at PES, students get to play sports whenever they want, there are separate fields for different outdoor sports. One of the most attractive being is the cricket ground.
Faculty: The curriculum at PES is updated or changed every year to cope with the real-world developing technology, which is a really good thing. All the lectures are very well-experienced and know the core of the subject, which is really wanted for a student. Also, at PES, we have a method called mentoring, which is a one-to-one meeting every week. It is mentored by the teacher, which is really required in a student's education lifestyle.
Other: Nothing much, but I would like to tell my juniors who are going to join this following year. There is no need to study from day 1, but whenever you study, keep full focus until it's done. That's it, just believe in yourself and keep control of yourself.

Not what I expected it to be.
Placements: As a fresher, I don't know a lot of seniors. But from the things I have heard from most of them, the placements are really good. But the most important part is played by your CGPA here. A good CGPA means good job placement with higher annual income.
Infrastructure: The college provided good classroom and lab facilities. The hostel rooms are decent compared to other hostels. There are four canteens on the campus, and the quality of the food is good. The campus is clean and huge. We have small stalls for snacks and stationery inside the campus.
Faculty: There are two in-sem exams and one end-sem exam conducted in each semester. Most of the faculty members are friendly. Portions are hectic, and scoring is tough. Getting a scholarship in the first year is tough because of the competition among all the first years.
Other: There are no fests conducted regularly. Just one fest per semester. The crowd is fine, but you'll come across mostly nerds. No other interesting activities were conducted after the first month as a fresher. Only focused on studies. It's not worth joining if you're looking for fun and studies.
