B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2029

There are a lot of clubs technical and non technical which are worth.
Placements: In electronics and communication the placement was not that good compared to CSE till last year. The placements are decent for ECE but then in the last year there is a slight dip in the placements for CSE. The placement ratio is almost the same as before.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice and has a lot of extracurricular sports and a lot of eating spots. There are separate places for the hackathons to be conducted. There are a lot of auditoriums. There are separate blocks of each branch like B.Tech B.Com BBA etc.
Faculty: Most of the crowd is dependent on the PPTs and the apps not on the lecturers. The PESU app helps the students a lot. This consists of the syllabus for the given semester. If anyone does not understand they can refer to the app for the given topics.
Other: The placement last year for ECE is less but the labs and all the other things are very nice.

One of the top colleges in Bangalore, with top-notch infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Placements are really good, mainly because the college is located in a city like Bangalore. Compared to other colleges such as BMS and MSRIT, the placements are much better. They have a median package of 18 to 20 LPA for the AIML course, which is likely to increase in the future.
Infrastructure: The canteen and hostel facilities are really good. This might be the best thing about the university. The libraries are of top-notch quality. They have great basketball courts, badminton courts, and other sports facilities. The food available in the canteen is also amazing.
Faculty: I feel that the curriculum is up-to-date. But the exams are a bit too hard. There are a few topics that are not necessary right now. Faculty members are all top-notch. They have graduated from prestigious universities and have deep knowledge.
Other: I chose this course because it is in demand right now. If one thing I would like to improve about my course or college. It is the lesser frequency of assignments, which is a bit hectic. The events and fests are also held less frequently. It should be increased to provide a more relaxing experience for students.

I'm satisfied with the infrastructure, but it can include more extracurricular activities.
Placements: So 80-90% of students from my course got placed in top companies, and most of us managed to get jobs through campus placement. The highest salary package offered in our course is around 25 to 26 LPA. The average package is roughly around 11-13 LPA. Some of the top companies include KPMG, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, TCS, DELL, etc. Around 80-95% students got internships, and some companies offering internships are Wipro and Accenture. The roles offered through placement and internships are legal advisory, business development, legal research, and consulting.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite excellent, including Wi-Fi for all and a specialised library for law. The quality of the hostel is also nice, but the food is not so much appreciated in the canteen, and it takes a lot of time to get prepared. There are quite a few sports games like football, basketball, badminton, etc. Including the top infrastructure courts for each sport.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and are also qualified, where in the majority of them are professors, while some teachers are too strict and do not understand or think from the students' point of view. Semester exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is around 80. Students are pressured for on-time submission for PPT research paper, etc.

Completely worth a one-time investment.
Placements: According to our seniors and the placement information given by them, around 85-90% of the people who were eligible for placements were offered internships/placements. The highest package was around 56-60 LPA last year, the lowest was maybe 3.2 LPA, and the average is 12 LPA. The whole MAANG came itself. Everybody who was eligible got an internship. Software Engineer/ SDE-2, Data Analyst, and Data Engineer roles are offered.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, but restricted to one device only, and the internet doesn't come on the campus. Classrooms and faculty are all world-class. I'm a day-scholar, but as per my peeps, hostel food is bad. But the canteen food is top-notch. Sports facilities are also top-notch. Gym (10K for RR campus and 6K for EC campus), both are good.
Faculty: Teachers respond in seconds to DMs (doubts only). The curriculum keeps changing every semester. College exams are pretty hard, and per the seniors' evaluation system, they are also hard. If you manage to score 7.75 CGPA, you are most likely to land a job above 12LPA.
Other: Intake is slightly higher, but ample space is available on the campus. Scholarships are also available. Please refer to the pes.edu for more details.

I am satisfied with facilities. It has average placements but good infrastructure.
Placements: There are a total of 1,000 students. The package offered is 10 LPA (2024-2025), which a girl got. I do not remember because I did not focus on placements yet, so it is necessary to do internships. Almost 95% of students got internships, and those who couldn't find internships are working as interns in the department itself.
Infrastructure: All necessary requirements are available on the campus. All sports equipment is available. There are e-libraries, many classrooms, and proper accommodation of students with LED screens, TV, projectors, blackboards, recorded classes, online courses, etc. All facilities are good and comfortable to use.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are great. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. It's very easy to crack exams if we study properly because marks are divided into very easy divisions. 50 marks are needed to score in the final examination, and the remaining 50 marks can be easily scored in the internals, so exams are very easy.
Other: I chose the BBA course. Co-curricular activities are held here. All fests organised are good and enjoyable.

You will experience every feeling in this college, good placements, and good friends.
Placements: Around 250+ companies will come to hire students in our college. In 2024, highest package offered by a company was 52 LPA, and average package was 15 LPA. As our course is computer science, more than 700 students apply for placements, and percentage of getting placed is around 60%. They also offer good internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our college offers a fine infrastructure with high-speed Wi-Fi and a well-built library to study with all kinds of books. A well-maintained canteen, well-facilitated sports field, and medical facilities.
Faculty: Our college takes well-educated faculty members and relevant courses that are necessary for industry. They also offer good hackathons so that students can apply their skills to make projects. Exams in our college are tricky, testing our brains and skills.
Other: Joining my college made me handle difficult times regarding curriculum, and I met good friends who are very talented and good at sports and curriculum as well. Our college conducts a fest every year and offers a good scholarship for students from the government, as well as based on their results. Our college conducts sports tournaments and other activities. Also, our college encourages cultural events during Kannada Rajyotsava and during other special days.
