Placements opportunities in our university for French are quite low as it is a central university, but they can easily tie-up with MNCs and schools for wider opportunities.

Satisfied with the studies, but was not satisfied with system aspects like exams and placements.
Placements: About 70 to 75 percent of the students from my course got placed in well-established industries. The highest average package offered for my course was around 6 to 7 LPA, while the lowest average package ranged between 2.5 to 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course were Deloitte, Microsoft, Amazon, and Wipro. Around 40% to 45% of students secured internships in companies like Wipro and Deloitte. The top roles offered in our course were software developer, software programmer, web developer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in my department were really good. The Wi-Fi ran at high speed without any interruptions, and the laboratories were well-maintained with all the necessary equipment for practicals. The computers were equipped with updated software needed for our studies. The library provided a peaceful environment and offered a wide variety of books. Additionally, the quality of food in the mess and canteen was tasty and hygienic. Good medical facilities were available in our department, and sports and games were encouraged, with annual competitions being organized.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, highly qualified in their respective subjects, and knowledgeable. They supported students during examinations and explained concepts clearly through effective teaching methods. The course curriculum was relevant and made students industry-ready through interactive sessions and practical internship experience. The difficulty level of the semester exams was moderate, neither too hard nor too easy. The overall pass percentage of students was around 65 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I had been interested in computers since the 6th grade, and it was my favorite subject. The best thing about this course was that it opened up many job opportunities after graduation. Things that could have made the course even better included a stronger focus on core computer skills, practical knowledge, and communication skills. Events, fests, campus crowd, and connectivity were all really good. The campus surroundings were kept very neat and clean. Scholarships were provided to students belonging to lower income or reserved categories, and various extracurricular activities were organized on campus.

A genuine opinion about Pondicherry University.
Placements: Placements are comparatively fewer than at other institutes. Placements are mostly available for PG courses. I guess there have been no placements for our course till now. For PG courses in our department, I guess placements are available. For UG, especially our course and B.Tech, no placements are there, I guess. Students get internships as a part of their syllabus. But even then, we have to find ourselves.
Infrastructure: The course/department has all facilities. Computer labs, library, and Wi-Fi are available. There are properly functioning classrooms. Smart boards and projectors are available in some classrooms. The hostel is okay. Three people stay in one room. Food quality is not that good in the mess. Canteens are available with a little good food. For medical facilities, a health centre is there with basic facilities. That's not up to the mark. For sports and games, all types of grounds are available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful. Some are strict. Some are nice. Teaching quality is okayish. Some teach well. The course curriculum is not that relevant. Some papers are not at all relevant. Semester exams are easy. They are not that tough for our course and department, I guess. The pass percentage is high, I guess.
Other: I chose this course because I am a little tech freak, and I hope this has more opportunities in the future. If topics are changed and more relevant topics are added, the course would be better. There aren't many events here. But the campus is crowded, and socially we can connect more. There are more opportunities for extracurricular activities.
