Pondicherry University is gorgeous.

Faculty: The faculty members teach the curriculum in an understandable manner that stays within the time frame of the semester. While the exams are relatively easy, they are given that there is a proper understanding of the concept. The questions asked are from the overall concepts taught and are asked in such a way to understand the level of concept understanding of the student.

Great place to study, but still, there is way more that can be improved.

Faculty: Teachers here are well-educated and experienced. But the curriculum designed does not develop students' skills. Rather, they are mostly book-oriented. Exams are conducted here are moderate. Not tough at all. Not very easy either. In our batch, probably all the students have passed.

Best for students who like the B.Tech and make connections with different countries students.

Faculty: The teachers are well educated from top IITs, NITs, and IISc, which makes all the students feel proud to get education from all good, qualified teachers. From my perspective, the course curriculum is good enough to get into the industry after graduation, but students' effort is very much needed to do their best to get an internship, and they should be extroverted and should attend all workshops. Coming to semester exams, it is divided into 60-40, in which 40 is internals, and 60 is externals. In...

It is a nice place to build our career.

Faculty: Some faculty members are really good, and some of them are not. Semester exams are quite moderate. The course curriculum makes us know about what we have to study in this course within 4 years and gives us a clear idea to go and build our future in the respective fields.

No placement. Friendly faculty members.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers are so friendly. Everything depends on the teacher's mood and the students' behavior. The syllabus now updated the teachers always try to put something new for students to teach. Everything is helpful, but something is outdated even though it is good.

It's a decent university.

Faculty: The faculty members are the best. They are all very well qualified and have a deep understanding of their respective subjects of expertise. The curriculum is good, but it doesn't compare to the NEP curriculum. It, however, does do the job and makes the student industry-ready as long as the student puts in the effort to understand the subjects in the course. The semester exam questions feel fair enough.

Placements, infrastructure, courses in PU.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced. The teaching quality is good. The semester exams are not too hard. Exam time table is quiet inconveniable. 50 percent is the pass percentage. The curriculum maintains quality and contains essential elements.

Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences.

Faculty: The professors here are really friendly, and they don't show any work stress to us. They always welcome us at any hour with doubts, and it will be clarified in a very detailed manner. Our college follows the CBME curriculum, and as our college is under PU, it is a bit tough to pass.

I truly love my university.

Faculty: All are prepared well with the NEP guidelines, so it is flexible and calming to learn more. Exams are good and based entirely on the syllabus. Our curriculum is truly relevant to current affairs. We study Science, Maths, Computer Graphics, and Python.

PIMS: A student-friendly college.

Faculty: We follow the CBME curriculum in our college, and exams are conducted by Pondicherry University. The curriculum is very standard, and we have the most helpful and super-friendly staff who are from JIPMER, AIIMS, and many top universities. They are very helpful and super cool. Yearly, we have only one university exam, which consists of very standard questions, and the pass percentage is the 60-40 rule.

Placement records in 2025 and university life at Pondicherry University.

Faculty: In my department, teachers are really helpful, and some teachers teach really well. Teachers are well qualified, holding a Ph.D. degree and a good research background. This course does not make you ready for corporate jobs; you can only think about research sectors. For corporate jobs, we need to develop skills on our own. Exams are not too difficult; they are moderate if you follow proper class notes. The pass percentage of students in one attempt is 90 percent, and the passing mark is 40.
